Charming 100-year-old Norwegian farmhouse with a large garden, just a 3-minute walk to the fjord and a 15-minute drive from Kristiansund. Recharge your batteries in peaceful, unique surroundings! Welcome to our charming farmhouse – a peaceful vacation retreat with a large garden and space for the whole family. You wake up to the sound of birdsong, can stroll barefoot out into the garden, and feel the fresh coastal air. Here you have peace and quiet — at the same time it is only a 15 min drive to Kristiansund and 40 min to the Atlantic Road. The space 🛌 Room & amenities • 9 beds on two floors. Perfect for a family that wants plenty of space, or two families or several generations traveling together. • First floor: Master bedroom in the spacious converted stable with rustic windows, + a room for 2 guests with a comfortable queen-size bed. • Upper floor: Spacious master bedroom with a "four-poster" king-size bed in a bookcase alcove, open-plan living room with a wood-burning stove and a daybed, plus a bedroom with two single beds. • Fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor with open living room and dining room, fireplace and wood stove, free WiFi and TV. • First floor bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. • Washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room • Private outdoor areas: Garden with garden furniture, barbecue and fire pan – large lawn for playing and games. 🌊 Outdoor area and proximity to the lake Three minutes walk to our boathouse and jetty, where you can take a dip, dangle your feet or enjoy lunch by the sea. The boathouse is shared with us. Deer roam around the garden, roses climb up the walls – nature is just outside the living room door. 📍 Explore the area • Only 15 min drive to Kristiansund with restaurants, coastal town life and culture. • 40 min to the Atlantic Road – one of Norway's most spectacular fjord and coastal stretches. • Hiking opportunities right outside the door: go to the top of Freikollen (700 m.a.s.l.) overlooking the fjord and sea. • Day trips: Geirangerfjorden, Trollstigen and Innerdalen are within reach. • Local experiences: Coastal culture, fishing and seafood, cultural festivals in Kristiansund. ⸻ - ℹ️ Other information • The house is over a hundred years old with rustic charm. We are painting and renovating a bit now, so it will be ready to receive guests from March 2026. The images will be updated continuously. • Car is strongly recommended to get around and explore the area. Free parking just outside the house. With electric car chargers that can be used for a low fee. • Perfect for families: we have a crib available on request, a large garden for playing, and a quiet area. We can't wait to welcome you!
