Enjoy easy access to the lake, trails, and town, then unwind back at the cabin after a day outdoors. The space This is a true mountain cabin! Cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for families and dog owners who value outdoor space and a quiet location near the lake. The home has a warm, cabin-style layout that works especially well for up to 4 adults, or families with children, and can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests in total. Groups with kids tend to find the space especially well-suited, while groups with more than 4 adults may find the common areas a bit snug. What really sets this property apart is the large, fully fenced yard, which is a rare find in the Grand Lake area. It’s ideal for kids to play, dogs to roam, and for enjoying time outdoors without worrying about traffic or neighboring properties. The yard includes a fire pit, horseshoes, a swing, and plenty of space to relax and unwind. If outdoor space matters to you, this cabin delivers. Please note the fencing is typical of mountain properties (mesh wire) and may vary slightly in height and coverage. Snow conditions in winter can also impact the effective height of the fence. Inside, you’ll find family-friendly touches including toys, books, and basic baby gear to make traveling with little ones easier. The kitchen is well-equipped for simple meals, and the common areas are perfect for winding down after a day of hiking, skiing, boating, or exploring. The cabin is located in a quiet residential area near Lake Granby, with easy access to the lake, trails, and nearby town. Parking accommodates vehicles as well as trailers, boats or snowmobiles, making it a great base for both summer lake days and winter adventures. In winter months, 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains. Please note: the fireplace is currently out of service until fall, 2026. A little local history: this cabin was originally located in what is now Lake Granby and was thoughtfully relocated when the valley was flooded.
