This modern and privately owned 106 m2 luxury cottage is located right above Akureyri and has gorgeous views over town and the surrounding nature. The house comes with a fully equipped kitchen, flatscreen TV and Wifi, entertainment system/board games and a cozy indoor hot tub to relax in after a long day. The space The house is perfect for families as you have all the amenities needed but is no less fitting for friends to enjoy a unique holiday together or simply couples to enjoy a quiet vacation in a romantic setting. The neighbourhood consists of a few cottages just outside of Akureyri, only about 5-10 minute drive, both to the town centre and to the ski resort Hlíðarfjall (if there is enough snow even ski-in/ski-out). The location offers great opportunities to catch the Northern lights, as you are away from the city lights. If you are in luck they can even be enjoyed from the indoor hot tub, which has big glass windows and a door opening to the patio. - Three bedrooms, one with a Double bed and the others with two Single beds (that can be put together with a double mattress on top). - Two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other also a laundry room with washer and dryer. - Fully equipped kitchen and living room together in one spacious area. - You will find extras that are nice to have, such as coffee/tea, spices, cooking oil, candles, napkins, shampoo/conditioner etc. - Garden furniture and barbecue on the balcony, ideal for cosy summer days. - Please note that some of the furniture have been updated and are not the same as in the pictures.
