Turtle Ridge is a 3 bedroom apartment located on the cliff edge in St. Phillip, Barbados. Chill out and relax with the panoramic sea views and fresh sea breeze. It is walking distance to the secluded Foul Bay Beach, and a five minute drive to the Crane Beach and it's many restaurants. This unit has two large private decks for outdoor living and dining. The space Turtle Ridge is a peaceful waterfront retreat perched along the southeastern coast of Barbados, surrounded by breathtaking ocean views and unspoiled natural beauty. Thoughtfully designed for couples, families, and small groups, the home offers generous space, modern comfort, and a relaxed island atmosphere with a refined, upscale touch. From the terraces, you may spot some of the island’s rare Green and Hawksbill sea turtles gliding through the water or surfacing just offshore. To one side of the property lies Lavender Point, a scenic overlook where sweeping views of the Atlantic reveal stunning shades of aqua and turquoise. On the other side is Oliver’s Cave, a secluded cove known both as a local fishing spot and as a nesting site for the striking Red-billed Tropicbird and other unique ocean birds. On the balcony, hummingbirds flutter around the native aloe vera and cacti growing lushly in planters. This 3-bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment is the upper level of a two-unit home. It features a private balcony with stunning sea views, as well as a beautifully landscaped mezzanine terrace with lounge chairs and built-in seating, perfect for relaxing. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and each has a designated bathroom, providing comfort and privacy. Situated on a private hallway, the master suite contains a queen-size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, desk, chair, dresser; with an adjacent bathroom. The other two bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house. Bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed, beside tables, a desk, chair, walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom. While Bedroom 3 features a queen-size bed, bedside tables and built-in closet and dresser, with a bathroom directly adjacent. A large, open-concept living room, 6-person dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen with a granite island and laundry room lie between the two bedroom wings. French doors open from the living room and dining room onto a balcony outfitted with outdoor dining for six and Adirondack Chairs for taking in beautiful ocean sunrises. Below, you can sunbathe on two loungers or meditate on the built-in benches that line the large, paved, private terrace. A few steps below, guests can enjoy the shared pool overlooking the ocean or sip drinks at the pool-side tiki bar. Turtle Ridge is a great option for families. That said, because it is situated on a cliff, the property may not be suitable for guests traveling with young children. Guest access Guests have a private upper apartment with panoramic views of the sea from a private upper balcony. Just below is another private terrace for sunning or spotting turtles in the surf below. A pool and pool deck is adjacent and is shared with the lower apartment, as is the pool bar area. The pool room contains the shared dryer - while the apartment itself has a private clothes washing machine. Parking is shared in the driveway area. This apartment also has access to an outdoor drying line for clothing. Other things to note Turtle Ridge is located in a quiet, oceanfront area slightly off the beaten path, so we strongly recommend renting a car for the most convenient and flexible access to the island. A bus stop is located along Foul Bay Main Road, approximately a 15-minute walk from the property. Five minutes drive away from Turtle Ridge are a popular French fine-dining restaurant and a relaxed, informal, ocean-front bar and grill. A large selection of restaurants can be found 10-20 minutes drive in either direction from the home. The island's beautiful beaches are easily accessible from Turtle Ridge. Miami Beach, a popular south coast beach in a calm cove, is 18 mins drive away. With its strong surf appropriate for adventurous swimmers, the world-famous Crane Beach is only 7 mins drive away.
