Unique house with stunning garden, close to swimming, forest and outdoor activities. The space Welcome to our beautiful vintage house and lovely garden! Fantastic swimming spots, trails, running tracks, canoe rental, mushroom picking, berries and forests are within a few hundred meters of the house. Hindås ski club has very well-maintained ski trails in the winter months, and if it is cold you can skate on the lake, which is 200 meters from the house. The house has been carefully renovated in the original style, with many details remaining. There are three spacious bedrooms with double beds and an office. The kitchen has all the amenities you might need. There is also a kitchen island with two seats. The dining room can seat ten people. The living room is large, airy and spacious, with a fireplace for cold and rainy days. The house is directly connected to the hiking trail Vildmarksleden, which goes all the way to Gothenburg. Fantastic swimming spots, trails, running tracks, mushroom picking, berries and forests are within a few hundred meters of the house. For the adventurous, Bollekollen is about 10 minutes drive away, where downhill skiing is offered in the winter, and downhill and mountain bike trails in the summer. Trains to Gothenburg and Borås are a 12-minute walk away, and the bus station is seven minutes away. Direct train/bus to central Gothenburg and Borås takes 30 minutes. 200 m from the house is Hindås Kanotklubb, where there is a swimming area, as well as the possibility to rent a canoe for paddling through Östra and Västra nedsjön and the old fine canal that connects the lakes. IMPORTANT: we have a very friendly and social cat, Ozzy, who needs company and food. If you rent our house, this is included. Perfect for families and cat lovers :) As a thank you, you are welcome to enjoy all the berries (should be wild strawberries, strawberries and rasberries) vegetables (sallad, pease etc) and flowers in the garden. Also, there are bikes and an electricity driven cargo bike you can borrow. Please note that it is also possible to book our guest house (separate listing), if you are many guests coming. The houses have separate parts of the garden, and separate patios, but share parking (five lots in total). And finally: In 2025 the spa Hotel Hjortviken opened its doors in Hindås (links can’t be added here, so please google) There has been a massive hype about the hotel, with articles in Forbes and The Independent saying it being one of the most anticipated openings in the world this year. You can eat, drink, swim, and enjoy other activities, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Perfect for a treat or on a rainy day!
