House for up to 24 guests with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The house sits on a plot of 2500 m2 and is located 5 minutes from the centre of the village of Rascafría and 25 minutes from the ski slopes. It has all the entertainment and equipment to enjoy a great weekend with family or friends. Parties and loud noise are not allowed during the day or at night, with the exception of the large rear glazed terrace, which must remain closed so as not to disturb the neighbours. The space The main floor can accommodate 12 people in its 4 bedrooms and 2 more people in two extra beds in the study. The attic can accommodate 10 more people in its 2 very spacious bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and 1 double bed, plus 1 modular sofa bed. The two attic bedrooms each have a powerful air conditioning unit. On the ground floor, which is completely separate from the part that is rented out, the couple who look after the house stay from time to time. You won't see them except when they hand over the keys to you. The house has a large garden with an oven/barbecue and a spacious terrace overlooking the mountains. Its facilities and prime setting will make your stay very pleasant at any time of the year. The kitchen is spacious and open to the living room and the terrace, allowing everyone to take part in preparing meals or the barbecue. The living room on the main floor is very spacious, with 4 comfortable sofas facing a large fireplace and a big-screen TV that will let you enjoy a good film with family or friends. All floors have a fireplace and a TV. The main floor has two bathrooms, one of them with a jacuzzi. The attic has two bathrooms and a WC. For groups of 20 or more, the room on the ground floor, which has its own full bathroom, is made available. The glass-enclosed terrace with glass curtains provides a spacious games area with a table tennis table, table football, pinball machine and arcade machine all year round. Another separate enclosed area allows those who prefer to enjoy a good book or a pleasant snooze in the hammock or on the sofas. Both enclosed areas (games room and covered terrace) have air conditioning in both summer (cooling) and winter (heating). Guest access Pets are all welcome. Ski slopes such as Valdeski are 25 minutes from the house. Year-round, 8 m x 4 m indoor heated pool on the ground floor. We achieve a temperature of 23-25 degrees between November and March due to the low temperatures in the area, but it rises to 27-28 degrees between April and October, reaching 30 and more in July and August, thanks to a powerful heat pump. Outdoor parking for 6 cars, with the option of charging two electric cars. Twelve bicycles are available, with helmets, lights and the corresponding vests, which must be worn. The rental rate includes bed linen and one large towel per person. The kitchen on the main floor has a flat-top gas barbecue and 3 paella pans for 6 to 30 people. It has everything you need for cooking, including large pots, and there's a dishwasher. All the bathrooms have hand soap, shower gel and shampoo, as well as toilet paper. The kitchen has oil, vinegar, condiments, coffee, tea, salt and sugar. The house is about a 5-minute walk from the municipal sports centre, which has a basketball court and a football pitch, as well as 2 tennis courts and 2 paddle tennis courts. We provide rackets and balls for all activities. We organise mushroom-picking trips on request during mushroom season (spring and autumn). We provide a tent so that children can play and enjoy this experience. They can choose to sleep in it instead of in one of the house's bedrooms. A solar shower and a chemical toilet similar to those used in motorhomes are then provided. The tent is large (about 16 m2) and can comfortably sleep 6 children or adults. Local attractions: The centre of the village, with its bars and restaurants that will delight even the most discerning palates, is less than a 5-minute walk away. The ecological appeal of the area, nestled in the heart of the Guadarrama Nature Park, is hard to beat: hiking, mushroom picking, canoeing on the nearby Pinilla Lagoon, cycling, horse riding or snowshoeing in winter are just some of the attractions of this stunningly beautiful spot, less than half an hour from the ski slopes. The Monastery of El Paular is another place of unique interest, well worth discovering or revisiting after its recent restoration. Other things to note The rental price of the house depends on the number of guests, so please indicate the number of people who will be staying at the house before you book. If you're still not sure, you can change your booking by adding or removing people. Please note that Airbnb does not allow bookings for more than 16 guests, regardless of their age. If there are 17 or more of you, the price is €50 per additional guest per night (with a minimum of 2 nights). We'd like to stress that our neighbours enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, so we kindly ask our guests not to make noise during the day, especially by avoiding loud music, and to keep noise to a minimum from 10:30 p.m. onwards, particularly between April and September. For the rest of the year, the house is big enough to hold an event indoors or on the large covered and enclosed terrace without disturbing the neighbours, but you'll need to check with us before booking. Smoking is prohibited in any room of the house. The couple who look after the house live on the ground floor, which is completely separate from the part that is rented out. You won't see them except when they give you the keys and collect them again. In EXCEPTIONAL cases, we can make the ground floor available to you, which can accommodate 4 additional people, but only if there are at least 24 people booked through Airbnb. The ground floor is accessible to people with reduced mobility and can accommodate 6 people in its 3 bedrooms with double beds, plus 2 more on the sofa bed in the living room. In fact, the house can accommodate up to 28-30 people in total, and 36 in spring, autumn and summer thanks to the adjacent yurt-style tent. To do so, you must ask us in advance.
