The space Cragie Cottage sits in the heart of the charming village of Westmancote, surrounded by rolling countryside at the foot of Bredon Hill and at the gateway The Cotswolds. Recently renovated with exceptional attention to detail, this stylish cottage offers a peaceful and luxurious retreat, perfect for unwinding and soaking up the beauty of its idyllic setting. INSIDE THE COTTAGE Step inside to a spacious country kitchen, complete with a Rayburn oven, coffee machine, and a beautiful lime-oak island at its centre. The cottage features a charming dining area finished with Robert Welch cutlery, and a convenient downstairs bathroom with a shower. Guests can unwind in the cosy library room, furnished with a love-seat sofa and soft ambient lighting, or relax in the welcoming living room, which combines the warmth of a traditional country cottage with generous space. At the rear of the property, a bright conservatory offers lovely views across the picturesque garden. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms. Two are wonderfully spacious and feature super-king beds that can also be (upon request) arranged as singles , dressed with luxurious headboards and Out of Eden linens with a choice of duck-feather or synthetic pillows. One of these rooms also showcases a beautiful original fireplace. The third bedroom includes a wooden-framed daybed, perfect as a single bed or a peaceful spot to curl up with a book and unwind. A travel cot is also available OUTSIDE THE COTTAGE Step outside into the quaint cottage garden, enclosed by charming Cotswold stone walls. This peaceful, private space features a lovely summer house, perfect for escaping the midday heat or enjoying shelter from a light countryside drizzle. Guests can make the most of alfresco dining with the garden’s outdoor table and BBQ (available April–September). THE AREA Set in a haven for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers, there are miles of stunning trails directly from the doorstep, with excellent pubs en route. Guests can stroll to The Crown pub just in the next village of Kemerton, Or head to the nearby Cotswold villages of Broadway, Chipping Campden, and other beautiful Cotswold villages. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful break or a base for countryside adventures with family and friends, Cragie Cottage offers a chic and tranquil space to escape the daily grind. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage and the garden. There is a driveway for 2 cars (plus additional parking at a very near by location by separate arrangement) There is a key safe located near the cottage to gain access- the details will be provided in the check in email. Other things to note Important details to note- Parking- The driveway fits 2 cars, one parked in front of the other. There is additional parking a 2 minute walk from the cottage but this needs to be pre arranged with us ideally prior to arrival, so we can let the owner of these additional parking spaces know and provide simple directions. Hot water- the cottage has a medium sized hot water tank, this will provide ample hot water on demand. Should four guests wish to have full baths and long shower one after the other the hot water may run out in which case the tank requires time to reheat. Neighbours- The cottage is located in a lovely village along a peaceful lane. We’re fortunate to have wonderful neighbours, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful and keep noise to a minimum at appropriate times. We welcome dogs here at Cragie Cottage. We kindly ask that guests follow these doggie guidelines throughout their stay. - Please do not allow dogs up stairs - Please do not allow dogs on any of the furniture - Please do not leave dogs unsupervised in the cottage - Please clean up all dog mess from the garden - Please use the outside hose to wash your dog off when returning from a walk - Please use a doggie towel (your own or some may be provided) to dry them off after washing -There is a £35 dog fee charge per dog, per stay. Excess dog hair, mess or damage will incur additional charges and these will need to be passed to guests. Thank you very much for your understanding
