This cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat sleeps up to 8 guests and is perfect for couples, families, or friends looking for a relaxing getaway near hiking, skiing, and outdoor adventures in the North Cascades. The space Experience a luxury river-view retreat designed for comfort, light, and relaxation. This beautifully appointed entire home features large windows overlooking the river, modern finishes, and multiple living spaces—ideal for a romantic escape, families, or small groups. Located near North Cascades National Park, it’s a perfect balance of nature and refined comfort. First Floor The first floor offers a bright, open living area with huge windows framing peaceful river views and filling the space with natural light. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, a Breville espresso machine, and Lavazza coffee provided. A spacious dining table seats 8 guests, with 4 additional counter chairs for casual meals or entertaining. Also on the main level is a comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed, along with a beautiful bathroom featuring heated floors and a freestanding soaking tub—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Step outside to enjoy the private yard and relax in the outdoor hot tub (currently uncovered). The yard is great for kids, though due to the home’s elevated position above the river, children should be supervised at all times when outdoors. Second Floor Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy loft with a Smart TV, ideal for movie nights or quiet downtime. It also provides additional sleeping with a full-size sofa bed, with bedding conveniently stored inside the sofa. The primary suite is also located on the second floor and features a king bed, elevated ceilings, and a spacious, airy atmosphere. The en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower and heated floors for year-round comfort. Inside the primary bedroom, there is a small additional room that was converted from a walk-in closet. It has its own door and a window, and features a twin-over-twin bunk bed. This space is ideal for kids, but it can also work well for adults who are comfortable sleeping on a bunk bed and in a smaller room attached to the primary bedroom. Whether you start your morning with a quiet sauna session or end the day after soaking in the hot tub, it’s a perfect way to experience the calm beauty of the area near Mount Baker and the nearby Skagit River. Guests enjoy fast Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, washer and dryer, air conditioning, and heating, as well as free on-site parking. The river is visible from the property, though there is no direct river access from the house. The home is conveniently located near North Cascades National Park, offering easy access to hiking, scenic drives, and outdoor adventures. This home is a true luxury retreat with river views and a hot tub, designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and enjoy a memorable stay. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house and a private, fenced yard (one side of the fence is coming soon). Sheds and the garage are not accessible; the garage is locked and used for owner storage. There is ample free parking on the property directly in front of the house. The river is visible from the property, however there is no direct river access from the house due to elevation. Guests are welcome to use a small public neighborhood park located at the beginning of the street, about a 10-minute walk away. The park offers free public parking, a few swings and slides for kids, and a walking path that leads to the river. Other things to note Enjoy our outdoor sauna for a relaxing wellness experience surrounded by nature. It’s a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring and enjoy the peaceful setting near the Skagit River and views of Mount Baker. A gas BBQ is available for guest use—please turn it off after each use. Fire Pit (New Amenity) We’ve recently added a fire pit for guests to enjoy. Please ensure the fire is fully extinguished before leaving it unattended or at checkout. A limited amount of firewood may be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own if needed.
