Centrally and rural location between the cities of Leeuwarden and Harlingen, you will find our cozy vacation home. It has been renovated with care and equipped with all comforts. Enjoy the tranquility, lambs in the spring, whistling birds and a wide view over the Frisian landscape, even from the bathtub. The park has a lake and a forest path with fruit trees, which is also a habitat for deer. This area is known for its many tea gardens and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The space The chalet is located next to the characteristic villages of Menaam and Dronrijp, on the edge of a quiet holiday park. Here you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and the soothing sounds of nature. In spring and summer, the adjacent meadow is a lively scene with both calves and lambs, which makes for a special and constantly changing view. The chalet features a kitchen diner with bar, a round dining area/circular seating, a king size bed and a bunk bed. All beds are made with comfortable quality bedding and pillows. In addition to the bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, there is an extra bathroom with a spacious bathtub at the front of the house. A nice place to relax overlooking the meadows. The chalet is charming and authentic, and although it was originally old, it has been improved step by step in recent years, with respect for the character of the house. Our goal is to create a place where nature, comfort and atmosphere come together. We will always be working to improve it further. It is a nice place where we like to stay with our family, relax and enjoy. We sincerely hope you feel just as at home! Guest access During your stay, you have full access to the chalet and the garden. It is fully equipped and has all the comforts. The beds are made up when you arrive, there are also enough towels available. Furthermore, you can use the 4k smart television, excellent WiFi, Netflix and a Playstation 3 with various games. In the kitchen, all cooking necessities are available, including: salt, pepper, sugar, and some coffee and tea. The garden features a comfortable lounge sofa, a fire bowl and BBQ, a picnic table and seasonal fruit bushes. In the barn there is space for your bikes. Currently, we are still building a part of the garden. Directly in front of the park is a bus stop with a direct connection to Leeuwarden, Franeker and Harlingen. Within 10 minutes by car you are in the center of Leeuwarden, as a former cultural capital of Europe, the city offers a lot in terms of culture, shops and restaurants. In the chalet you will find magazines with tips for fun trips.
