Cozy chalet in the heart of Friesland

Rural location between the cities of Leeuwarden and Harlingen, you will find our cozy holiday home. The house has all the comforts. Enjoy peace and quiet, lambs and calves in the spring, whistling birds, and sweeping views of the Frisian landscape, even from the bathtub. The vacation park also offers various facilities, and there is a meadow with some forest and a small lake, which is also a habitat for deer. The area is known for its many tea gardens and the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea. The space The chalet is located next to the cozy villages of Menaam and Dronrijp, at the edge of a quiet holiday park. Here you can enjoy beautiful sunrises, panoramic views, and in the spring and summer, the adjacent meadow is a lively scene with both calves and lambs, providing a beautiful and constantly changing view. Perfect for peace seekers and nature lovers. The chalet also features a kitchen-living room with bar, dining area and two bedrooms. The beds are made upon arrival. There are also enough towels available. In addition to the bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, there is another bathroom with a double bathtub at the front of the house. A nice place to relax with views over the countryside. The chalet is charming and authentic, and while it was originally old, we have improved it step by step in recent years, respecting the character of the house. We will always be busy with the finish. It is a second home for us where we like to stay with our family, relax and enjoy nature. We sincerely hope you feel just as much at home.😊 Guest access The chalet is fully equipped. The garden is enclosed, offers plenty of privacy, and has several cozy seating areas. There are fresh herbs (mint, basil) and seasonal fruit bushes (raspberry, blueberry). The vacation park offers the following facilities: - Laundry facilities - Cozy diner (Fridays and Saturdays) - Ping-pong tables - Bouncy castle - Playground and large slide - Basketball and soccer cage - Jeu de boules - Sports fields Right in front of the park is a bus stop with a direct connection to Leeuwarden, Franeker and Harlingen. There is a large supermarket in Menaam. Within 10 minutes by car, you are in the center of Leeuwarden, and as a former cultural capital of Europe, the city offers a lot in terms of culture, shops and restaurants. In the chalet, you will find flyers and magazines with tips for fun trips.
