Description
You’ll love the stylish decor of this charming place to stay along with the feel of small-town, country living. The bed is a queen size, extra firm with plenty of blankets and pillows for added comfort. A coffee station and tea pot is provided for your convenience. The room offers plenty of natural light and the thermostat is conveniently located in the hall area for your comfort. This is a nice clean place to lay your head down; it's not a resort. The space The townhouse you will be staying at is an historic Queen Anne built around 1879, by the Houghton Family of Little Falls. It has some very nice architectural features that we've been restoring one day at a time, it's been a labor of love. Overall, the house has great energy and we're happy to share it with you. This room is currently over an art studio and next to an onsite real estate office located on the second floor. We are in the process of creating other rooms that will mostly likely be ready by summertime. We also have long term tenants who are native to this area and have been living on the property for over thirty years! All occupants and tenants have private separate entrances. There is private parking in the rear of the building and an outdoor area with a firepit for gathering. The BBQ will be available Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend. As for Little Falls there is recreation close by for those looking to just relax especially during the summertime. We have a community pool, bowling alley, ball field, tennis courts and two major golf courses nearby and the cutest little movie theater and the area is surrounded by Amish Family Farms. It's not unusual to see the horse and buggies pass the townhouse, especially on Sunday's. Within walking distance is Canal Place, East Main Street, Eds Pizza, Stewarts 24/7, Bonita Sandwich Shop, Ann Street Liquors and Burke Park. There are also a number of great restaurants all within walking distance including Toca Boca. The City of Utica, SUNY Polytechnic, Herkimer County Community College, and Pine Lake are only a short drive away including Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame and The Russell Family Diamond Mine. Your booking comes with a complimentary coffee and tea station in your room with a breakfast menu; if you'd like to have your breakfast delivered outside your door, for an extra charge of eleven dollars per person, just fill out the menu when you get here and leave it on the hallway buffet before 6 and 7pm and your breakfast left at the station outside your room around 8am unless otherwise instructed. We also have a pet station on the premises, on the second landing, in the hallway. (treats, baggies, leashes, collars, wee wee pads and more) if needed. We are happy to be hosting and hope you'll enjoy your time here with us. Please let us know a week in advance, if you need a crib or a cot, for your little one. It's our pleasure to serve you. Warm regards, Ann Sidenote: Fresh pots of coffee are available up till 7pm for an additional five dollars. All extras can be paid onsite. Guest access You have access to the backyard for smoking, pets and visitors There's also a full-service office on site available for printing and scanning, if needed. Other things to note Please be courteous to our other tenants and other guests and please pick up after you doggies. There are baggies at the pet station on the second landing in the top drawer of the buffet. You will also find an iron, clothing steamer, umbrellas, board games and playing cards there as well.
