River and Lake! You'll get the best of both worlds. The cottage is perched above the river and just around the bend is Norway lake. Bring your own boat and dock it in front of the cabin, or take the kayaks and paddle up river into town, or paddle down river into the lake. Watch and listen to the swans that float by, or fish off the dock. In the winter, hit the trails for cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and hot tubing in our new Cedar barrel tub overlooking the river (coming soon!) Guest access Launch your boat at the public launch and explore the Norway Lake and the river. Go bowling in Pine River, just two minutes from the cottage. Visit the world's largest Paul Bunyan and Babe statues in Akeley, a 35 min drive. Fish for walleye and muskie on Leech Lake, the third largest lake within MN, a 30 min drive.
