Phoenix Mountains Treehouse
Phoenix Mountains Treehouse
Description
A treehouse in the city of Phoenix?! Yes. Our 1 acre property just outside of the heart of Central Phoenix has two legacy pine trees, one of which holds a treehouse that was originally built as an extra space for our family and is now open for guests. It truly feels like a nest, tucked behind branches that provide privacy while huge window walls provide a view of the resident birds and majestic Phoenix mountains. New to Airbnb but 4 great years on Hipcamp The space The treehouse is in the front yard, set back from the road about 200 ft. It sits above an area of luscious lawn and a large landscape of native plants. It sits outside of our home and amenities are on different parts of the property - outdoor seating area at the base of the treehouse and the bathroom through a gate in the side yard. There are tons of hiking trails including a view of the city from the mountain at the end of our street - a 5-15 minute walk away. Guest access Ample parking including a private dirt driveway just for guests. You will likely see our family coming and going, especially when walking to the bathroom, and our elderly australian shepherd meandering through the yard under the treehouse. We asks guests to stay in the front yard except for the use of the bathroom and are welcome to hang out in the yard, the patio, and the desert landscape. Other things to note Please note that this is truly glamping! The treehouse is not insulated. We recently added a portable AC/Heater that really helps with comfort. There is power, lights, wifi, and plenty of blankets. Using the bathroom requires you to descend the steps and walk to the side yard. We only have the treehouse open during the fall to spring months in Phoenix, which generally gives us beautiful weather for a treehouse stay. *Recently added privacy curtains.
