Description

Your perfect country escape. A spacious family-friendly country escape on a working farm with lush gardens, mountain views and a wraparound verandah. Wander abundant veggie beds and fruit trees, relax in two living areas and cook in the big farmhouse kitchen. Watch sheep and cattle from a distance. Close to Pambula, Eden and beaches. Peaceful, abundant and full of country charm. The space This historic white farmhouse sits on a working sheep and cattle property, surrounded by rolling green hills and some of the most abundant gardens in the region. If you’ve ever dreamed of a slower, simpler life in the countryside, this is where you can experience it fully. The House This character-filled home dates back to its days as a Cobb & Co stop, and it still carries all the charm of classic country vernacular. With four generous bedrooms, two living spaces, two bathrooms and an extra outdoor toilet, it’s a spacious stay ideal for families, groups or two couples travelling together. The large eat-in kitchen is made for cooks with room to gather, prepare beautiful meals and enjoy fresh produce from the garden. A wide wraparound verandah offers sweeping views of the valley and is perfect for morning coffee, long lunches and sunset watching. The Gardens The garden is a true highlight. Established trees from the 1980s tower overhead and seasonal flowers bloom in abundance year-round. Wander through fruit trees, pick herbs and vegetables for your meals and enjoy the serenity of a garden that feels generous in every season. It’s lush, verdant and deeply peaceful. The Farm The property is part of a working farm. Guests can watch sheep and cattle from a safe distance and enjoy the authentic rhythms of rural life while still having complete privacy. (Paddocks and machinery areas are not accessible for safety.) Family Friendly We raised our two children here, and the house is wonderfully suited to families. There is room to play, trees to climb, books and toys, and endless space for children to explore and imagine. The Location The farm is perfectly placed for a country-to-coast holiday. • Pambula and Eden beaches are just 40 minutes away • Bega is 50 minutes • The Snowy Mountains are two hours • Canberra is three hours • The region is known for its oysters, farm gates, produce markets, bakeries, breweries and exceptional restaurants It’s an ideal base for food lovers, nature seekers and families wanting a peaceful retreat with plenty to explore nearby. What You’ll Love • A charming, historic farmhouse full of character • Wraparound verandah with sunrise and sunset views • Lush gardens, fruit trees and abundant seasonal flowers • Fresh produce from the veggie patch • Family-friendly layout with lots of space • Quiet, private and deeply relaxing • Easy access to beaches, national parks and food experiences This is a place to cook, dream, wander and slow down. A country escape that feels warm, generous and wonderfully restorative. Guest access Guests have full access to the farmhouse and all of the surrounding garden areas. The home is yours entirely during your stay and is designed to feel private, peaceful and easy to settle into. A secure lock box is located at the house for simple self check-in and check-out. You’ll receive the code before arrival so you can arrive at your own pace. Inside the Home Guests have access to every room in the house, including: • All four bedrooms • Two living areas • The large farmhouse kitchen • Two bathrooms and the outdoor toilet • Laundry facilities • The wraparound verandah and all outdoor seating areas Everything has been set up so you can enjoy your stay comfortably, whether you’re cooking, resting, reading, or simply soaking in the country quiet. Gardens and Outdoor Spaces One of the greatest pleasures of staying here is the freedom to wander the gardens. Guests are welcome to enjoy: • The established ornamental gardens • Flowering borders, seasonal plantings and shady lawn areas • The vegetable patch and herb beds • Fruit trees when they’re in season • Garden paths, open spaces and quiet corners for reading or morning coffee Many guests love picking herbs and vegetables to cook with, gathering flowers for the table, or simply exploring the garden’s many beautiful spots. Farm Areas The property sits within a working sheep and cattle farm. You’ll see livestock grazing nearby and experience the gentle rhythms of rural life, which adds to the charm of the stay. Guests are welcome to watch the animals from a safe distance, but for safety reasons farm paddocks, machinery areas and any shedding or equipment are not accessible.
