The space Barryrennie House has been a labour of love for the owners, Maria and Paul since March, 2024. Sitting on a couple of hay bales with a cuppa in hand at the old hay shed, which is perched on the highest point of the 300 acre property, a conversation ensued and the decision was made there and then to convert the old hay shed into a large farmstay. The property Springfield, is predominantly cropping and livestock. Rhodes grass, Teff and Lucerne are grown to make hay for horses. At times during the summer in the late afternoons at dusk and evenings. guests will enjoy and have a birds eye view of the harvest from the verandahs. Canola is also grown on neighbouring farms which attract many tourists to the Cowra district in October and November. Barryrennie House is in a quiet location at the rear of the property with easy access to Conimbla National Park where guests can enjoy the delights of bird watching and bushwalking.
