This brick bungalow was built in 1940 on what was originally the back lot of Mendota's historic Faber House (built in 1908). It's in a quiet, residential neighborhood only a 5 minute walk from the grocery store and a 12 minute walk from the local coffee shop. Visiting via Amtrak? It's a 10 minute walk. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the basement laundry is also available. You will feel like you are at home, only better. The space There are 2 bedrooms; Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 has a full and a twin. There is also a not-quite-full futon bed in the living room - let us know if you wish to use this bed and we'll have it made up for you. The full bath is between the bedrooms and access is from the hall. Laundry facilities are in the basement. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire house and yard (though the yard is very small). Other things to note The pack-n-play is located in the closet near the front door. Clean sheets and blankets are stored with it. Our high chair is stored in the front entry; booster seat is found in the closet near the front door. A laundry basket of toys and dolls is also in the closet near the front door. Feel free to drag it out and play!
