Corbett's Lodge

Corbett's Lodge is one of a pair of unique and historical symmetrical gate lodges in Ireland. Built circa.1830 and lovingly renovated, it sits at the entrance of Ravenscliff Estate, a peaceful setting yet a short walk to the town and scenic Lough Foyle Shore Path walk. Moville is a quaint seaside town offering walks, hikes and near the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. A short drive to the City of Derry and strategically placed to explore The Wild Atlantic Way and or Causeway Coast & Glens. The space The property has a generous open planned living space and kitchen with access to a private patio and garden, which backs onto the woodlands of Ravenscliff Estate. There is one double bedroom with King size bed and fitted wardrobes. This bedroom looks onto the garden and offers views of Lough Foyle as well as the historic lighthouse in Moville. This lighthouse is one of only two remaining in ireland, the other being located in Cobh in County Cork. The second bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a bespoke set of bunkbeds designed to incorporate and reflect the original attic space which originally would have been used as a sleeping area when the property was constructed. Both beds are larger than standard bunkbeds and each would comfortably sleep two adults. The top bunkbed would not be recommended for very young children due to the height. Guest access Guests have access to the entire lodge and lodge garden as well as private parking with space for two vehicles. The gravel avenue leads to Ravenscliff House which is private. Guests do not have access to this avenue. Other things to note No parties or large group bookings will be permitted.
