Romantic King with Countryside view at B&B on WRC

We created our bed and breakfast to be comfortable, relaxing, restful, and romantic. Retha and I Have operated as a full bed and breakfast since August 1st, 2000. We enjoy serving breakfast to our guest. It is very enjoyable when they come into the main house and we can serve them with a hot breakfast right at their table. So if you're looking for bed-and-breakfast in the Waco, Central Texas area we believe you will not be disappointed with your stay here with us. Dana & Retha The space Kaelyn’s Retreat is 360 sq. ft. It is up an outside staircase to a private deck through your own entry. It has a wonderful king size bed and a loveseat to sit on while watching your smart TV. The ceilings are vaulted both in the bedroom and the bathroom. The en suite bathroom has a double backed champagne tub. It also has a separate shower, dark wood floors and decorative area rugs. It has a small bar refrigerator and a microwave oven. Guest access Our bed and breakfast on 4 acres beside White Rock Creek. We have a big beautiful yarn with large pecan and oak trees. Our property resides in a wooded neighborhood full of trails creeks and bridges. Sometimes you can see cattle in the pasture or miniature ponies. Our guests have seen various forms of wildlife such as deer, raccoon, turkeys, and an occasional owl. A fire could be started in a small fire pit. We could set up a corn hole game for you to enjoy. Please let us know if there's anything we can do for you to enjoy or stay. Other things to note Our adventure started like this. In the spring of 2000, Retha Was feeling a little stressed out. Her thought was that even Jesus went away to a lonely place occasionally. She wanted to go by herself to read, pray, walk, and relax. She went to a small town not far away and stated a bed and breakfast. She felt so refreshed and renewed. Just before leaving after a two day stay she actually said to herself out loud, Lord I'm like provide a place of retreat for people. She never shared that thought with anyone even me. A few months later it was our anniversary. She told me she would like to go away and stay at a bed and breakfast. I thought that was kind of a crazy idea. I found a different bed and breakfast within that same small town. From the moment I walked on that property my brain started imagining what it would be like running this as a business. Just before we were called to breakfast while we were waiting outside in their courtyard, in the midst of a conversation I looked at her and asked, " We're supposed to open up a bed and breakfast aren't we?" She smiled for a big and said, " Yes we are!" Within just a few months we purchased the home that we now use as the innkeeper's house. Where we serve breakfast and greet our guests. That was August 1st, 2000. It took a few years for us to build all of the rooms that we have within two extra buildings. We have greeted guests from all over the world. We have made friends with so many. This has been the joy of our life! I often tell people that I know we don't have a perfect bed and breakfast property but we try to overcome it with hospitality.
