For safety reasons, we kindly ask that guests do not walk or explore beyond the maintained house and pool grounds. The remainder of the property consists of natural and uneven terrain and is not accessible during your stay. Other things to note To help you feel fully prepared and relaxed during your stay, we’ve included a few helpful details about the home and its hinterland setting below. Nothing complicated, just small things to be aware of so there are no surprises and you can simply enjoy your time here. The driveway to the property is steep and gravelled, which adds to the beautiful private setting. On wet days it can be a little slippery, so we recommend taking it slowly and using a suitable vehicle if possible. If you have any questions about access before your stay, we’re always happy to help. As the home is set in a peaceful hinterland location, you may encounter local wildlife and insects from time to time, this is part of the charm of staying immersed in nature. The pool is serviced regularly, however, due to the natural surroundings, occasional leaves may fall between services. Guests are welcome to enjoy the ice bath as part of their stay. Please note that ice is not provided and will need to be purchased locally. Firepit use is subject to local fire restrictions. As the home is located in a rural area, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of running multiple high-powered appliances at the same time (for example, sauna, dishwasher, dryer and oven). This helps prevent power interruptions during your stay. Severe weather can also occasionally cause temporary power outages. As the home runs on a pump system, water may also be affected during these times. While this is uncommon, we will always do everything we can to support you and ensure you remain comfortable should weather conditions impact services.
