Wooden cabin overlooking the Ubaque Lagoon

Our cabin is located across from the Ubaque Lagoon in a privileged natural setting in eastern Cundinamarca, just an hour and a half from Bogotá. Immersed in the forest and under the canopy of the trees with an open view of the lagoon and the mountain, ideal for couples or travelers who want to rest away from the urban noise. The space The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, living-dining room, study, laundry area, two bathrooms, master bedroom and a 20 m² private terrace with direct views of the lagoon. It has basic water and electricity services, as well as parking inside the property. The environment allows you to walk and explore the surroundings with respect for nature and the territory. Guest access Due to the current winter storm and the heavy rains in the region, there are traffic restrictions on the road leading to the lagoon. To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, we have established the following access options: Option 1: Guests with 4x4 vehicles Guests with 4x4 vehicles can choose 2 meeting points for arrival at the cabin: 1. Meeting in the municipality of Choachí We will meet at the agreed point in Choachí and from there we will accompany you to the cabin, located in front of the Ubaque lagoon. Upon arrival, we will make the formal delivery and explain everything you need to enjoy your stay in total comfort. 2. Meeting in the Ubaque Lagoon If you prefer to arrive directly, we can meet at a point near the Ubaque lagoon. There we will personally welcome you to hand over the cabin and share with you the protocols and recommendations that will make your experience even more enjoyable. Option 2: Guests without 4x4 vehicles For guests traveling in conventional vehicles, we recommend leaving your car in a secure parking lot located in Choachí. From there, our team will take care of the transfer to the cabin, avoiding any inconveniences on the road and ensuring a more comfortable and safe arrival. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any concerns about access or transportation, we will be on the lookout to provide you with all necessary information prior to your arrival. Other things to note * This is a rural retreat, designed for disconnecting. You won't find supermarkets or restaurants nearby. Inside the Lagoon we have the Caseta de Doña Rosa, a basic store where you can buy some essential products. * We recommend bringing what you need for your stay or planning your purchases in advance. * No visitors are allowed in addition to the guests registered in the reservation.
