Abraham’s Tent – Bar Rashi wellness Farm Ein Kerem
Description
Welcome to “Abraham’s Tent” – a unique Shabbat-observant glamping complex in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem. The complex features a large air-conditioned hospitality tent, a fireplace, and a heated swimming pool with complete privacy. You will also find a large, fully equipped kosher dairy outdoor kitchen, seating areas, a bonfire area, and more. Adjacent to the complex are walking trails leading into the forest and nearby springs. The complex is suitable for up to 14 guests. The space Our complex is secluded, private, and reserved exclusively for the guests who book it — there are no additional accommodation tents on the property. The complex is built across four levels of agricultural terraces. The owners live on the upper level, making them available for any questions or requests, while still allowing you complete privacy and a separate entrance to the hospitality area. Two levels below the hosts, you will find a shared heated swimming pool heated up to 40°C (5x3 meters). One additional level below is the accommodation tent itself. The tent is spacious and built on a wooden deck floor. It is airy and comfortable, with windows overlooking beautiful natural scenery and breathtaking views. The tent is one large open space and includes curtains that allow it to be divided into two or more separate areas for those who would like additional privacy. Inside the tent you will find a variety of mattresses — both double and single — 7 duvets (2 double and 5 single), decorative pillows, and seating cushions. Guests are requested to bring their own sleeping pillows and bed linens from home. The tent includes two very powerful air conditioners, and during colder winter days you can enjoy a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Firewood can either be brought with you or purchased from the host for an additional fee. On both sides of the tent there are marked hiking trails: one leading into the magical forest, and the other leading to the Ein Kerem orchard, where you will find scenic picnic areas, decorative gardens, and stunning views overlooking Ein Kerem — the ancient village. Five steps below the tent area, you will reach another large terrace of approximately 200 square meters. There you will find a fully equipped kosher dairy kitchen including a coffee station, large water pitcher, electric kettle, hot water urn, large refrigerator, oven, and gas stove. The kitchen includes cutlery and serving dishes for up to 20 guests and is maintained as kosher dairy. Meat meals are welcome in the complex, but guests should bring their own meat utensils from home. There are three large dining tables, with the option to add more if needed. On this same level, there is also a shower and restroom for your use, including hot water, shampoo, and conditioner. Also on this level is a shaded relaxation area with seating corners, mats, cushions, and a bonfire area where you can enjoy intimate campfires surrounded by nature. A charcoal barbecue grill is also available for your use. On the terrace below the hospitality area, we raise a small family goat herd along with a very friendly family of dogs that guests are welcome to visit. However, if you are less comfortable around animals, separation can be arranged. There are four private parking spaces available. One vehicle can reach directly to the tent entrance for guests with walking difficulties. Your hosts, Yashar and Sofia, are workshop facilitators. Sofia specializes in yoga and women’s wellness workshops, while Yashar leads workshops focused on craftsmanship, nature connection, and music. You are welcome to inquire about our in-house workshops, available by advance reservation and additional payment, including: Yoga, ancient crafts, healing sounds, forest foraging experiences, treatments, and more. The workshops can be tailored for couples, families, and groups. Please note that the swimming pool is not fenced. Culinary meals prepared with love by a local chef can also be arranged in advance. A large public shelter is located just a one-minute drive from the complex. Guest access Hadassah Medical Center is located about a 10-minute walk away. You can also reach the hospital via the Jerusalem light rail and continue on foot from there to our complex. Hiking trails and an abundance of natural springs begin directly from the property, offering biblical landscapes and a variety of routes to choose from. Jerusalem offers a wide range of attractions — fine culinary experiences, wineries, historical sites in the Old City, holy gravesites, breathtaking viewpoints, colorful markets, galleries, and local art. It is a unique city that beautifully combines spirituality, culture, and vibrant urban life. We will be happy to personally recommend places and attractions for you during a phone conversation!
