Description
This peaceful double room with full en-suite bathroom is on the ground floor at the back of our dormer bungalow with its own entrance through the garden. It has a king size bed and an off-street parking space. A microwave, toaster, kettle and mini fridge, plus crockery and cutlery make simple meals possible. We are right in the middle of our village, two minutes' walk from our Co-op and friendly pubs, and just a couple of minutes' drive from the M1, M6 and A5. The space Guests have their own entrance, bathroom and parking space and can keep themselves entirely separate from the family. Room facilities include a 32" TV, wi-fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, plates and cutlery, a half-fridge, good quality microwave and toaster. You are welcome to buy meals and snacks from our local Co-op (just a minute's walk away) and eat or store them in the room. Please, however, don't bring extra cooking equipment - simple toast and ready meals are what this bedroom can cope with. we have a dehumidifier to keep things comfortable when necessary. We provide big bath towels (changed on request), shower gel & shampoo. If you would like fresh towels each day, please ask. If you're staying long-term, let me know how often you'd like your bedding changed and the room cleaned. Guest access Private entrance with secure anti-snap key. Cctv security overlooking parking space; use of one parking space and shared use of garden deck; happy to arrange use of family kitchen and laundry, please ask. During your stay We will usually be around during your stay. You can always call us on our mobile if we're not in the house. Other things to note If you are working in the area and want a regular three, four or five-night booking for an extended period, we are happy to discuss special rates. We have one friendly dog. He is never allowed in the Deck Room but has the run of the rest of the house and garden, and we monitor him in the family part of the house on a 'nanny-cam' set up in the hall so that we will know whether he is barking for no good reason while guests want peace and quiet.
