The Cardinal's Nest it's a walk-out basement, perfect for families and friends. We are located 18 minutes from Naval Station Great Lakes and just 5 minutes from City of Hope Cancer Center, and the Lake Michigan shoreline and nature reserve. Ideal for hiking and birdwatching. Only 20 minutes from Six Flags Great America and downtown Kenosha museums. 3 sleeping areas (Queen bed, Full bed, Queen sofa bed). Equipped kitchen. Private entrance with smart lock. Guest access Guest Access & House Rules 🏡 Guests have full access to the entire apartment, with the following exceptions: Storage Closet: The mirrored-door closet located in front of the bathroom is reserved for storage and not accessible to guests. Laundry Use: Laundry facilities are available only for stays of more than 3 nights. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy your stay! Other things to note 🚫 House Rules No Smoking Policy: Strictly NO SMOKING or vaping (including cigarettes, cigars, or marijuana) inside the property. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if any smoke odor or evidence of smoking is detected. Events & Unregistered Guests: No events or additional guests are allowed without prior authorization. Unauthorized guests will incur a fee of $50 per person, regardless of whether they stay overnight. Authorized Events: Authorized events require a $300 security deposit. A $75 non-refundable fee will be retained for professional cleaning services; the remaining balance will be refunded after inspection, provided there are no damages. Maximum occupancy: 16 people. Decorations: An additional $50 charge applies for the use of confetti, glitter, or tape on interior or exterior walls. Please help us keep the walls in top condition. Pets: We love animals, but pets are not allowed on this property. Failure to comply will result in a $300 fine. Quiet Hours: To respect our neighbors, quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Failure to comply may result in local authorities being contacted and immediate eviction without a refund. Guest Policies & Fees Grill: Use of the grill requires a fee of $30 per day and must be requested in advance. Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill and ensuring it is turned off after use. Early Check-in: Early check-in is subject to availability. A fee of $15 per hour will apply for arrivals before the standard time. Late Check-out: For check-outs after 11:00 AM, a fee of $15 per hour (or fraction thereof) will be imposed. Long-term Stays: Extended stays require an additional cleaning fee. Professional cleaning is required once per week during your stay. Outdoor Fire Pit: Minors are not authorized to use the fire pit. The fire must be completely extinguished after use. Do not burn trash, and do not use the fire pit on high-wind days.
