Security & Entrance Instructions (Important) At the society gate, please inform the security guards that you are guests visiting the flat. You may also mention if you are friends or family members. Please do not mention Airbnb, short stay, tenancy, hotel, rent, or any similar terms, as this may create confusion or delays. Simply stating that you are visiting the flat is sufficient. Parking Information Open parking is available near the society entrance. Guests may park in the open space just behind the society gate, including the slightly uneven/broken off-road area adjacent to the boundary. Upon entry, inform the security guards that you are visiting for parking. There is usually a person present who can guide you to available parking spots. Parking is generally easier to find before 5–6 PM. Guest Identification & Society Formalities As per society rules, national ID cards are required for all occupants, including children and elders, irrespective of age. Acceptable ID cards include Aadhar card, passport, voter ID card, or driving license. For stays longer than one week, additional society charges of approximately ₹4,000 may apply. I will do my best to avoid these charges whenever possible, but the society may require formalities such as: Signing the society move-in/move-out form Signing a rental agreement Tenant police verification Submission of photographs and address proof of all guests, in addition to ID cards These procedures are mandated by the society and may be unavoidable in some cases. Power Backup (Please Read Carefully) Power backup is available only for essential usage. During power cuts, it supports basic lighting, ceiling fans, and charging points. High-load appliances such as air conditioners, geysers, washing machine, refrigerator, electric kettle, and other heavy electrical equipment will not function on backup. Air conditioners work normally when main electricity supply is available. Use of Electrical Appliances Electric kettle and other heavy kitchen appliances must be used only at the designated kitchen power points. Please do not use such appliances in bedrooms or other areas, as this may lead to electrical faults. Electricity Charges for Long Stays For stays longer than one week, electricity consumption will be billed separately based on actual usage. Quiet Hours & Neighbourhood Etiquette The apartment is located in a residential society with families, elders, and children living nearby. Quiet hours are strictly observed after 10:00 PM. Small gatherings and overnight stays are allowed; however, music and noise must be kept low at all times and should not disturb neighbours. Responsible Use of the Space Guests are expected to treat the apartment with care and respect, as they would their own home. Please follow house rules to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.
