**Open-air room**Malkoha Studios provides the perfect accommodation for solo travellers in Sri Lanka, located on one of Sri Lanka's most pristine beaches.We offer 8 individual open-air studio rooms, each with its own private garden space. The rooms are situated next to Sri Lanka's newest café and restaurant, Malkoha Specialty Cafe and Bar, which celebrates Sri Lankan coffee and offers a carefully curated food menu combining Australian café culture with Southeast Asian cuisine. The space Malkoha Studios is located on Pehembiya Beach, one of the south coast's most pristine swimming beaches. We are also a short 10-minute walk to Hiriketiya Bay, where you can enjoy a day of relaxing by the beach, surfing or sampling the bay's extensive range of bars and restaurants. Guest access Our hostel rooms are joined next to Malkoha Specialty Café and Bar, so you will have your privacy while still being right next to a space that offers all of your coffee and dining needs. The shared bathroom has 4 showers and 4 toilets, so there are plenty of amenities to go around. Other things to note As the rooms are open-air, and we live in the jungle, the resident monkeys have been known to jump the walls and steal your snacks. We recommend always keeping your food and other belongings inside the lockable cupboards whenever you leave your room.
