Cascina Cavenago
Description
The 17th-century villa of Cavenago stands on top of the hills of Ghemme, surrounded by the green rows of Nebbiolo and Vespolina. It is a recently renovated historic residence, but without compromising the original features of the structure: high wooden coffered ceilings, large fireplaces and antique terracotta floors. The Cavenago offers the opportunity to stay in spacious period rooms with views of the large garden and the Monte Rosa massif. The space The room offers an enchanting view of the inner courtyard and the greenery of the surrounding vineyards, with the possibility of admiring the Monte Rosa massif and the green hills of Gattinara on the clearest days. This room, the most "noble" of the structure, is historically significant since in the sixteenth century it was the bedroom of the illustrious Count Luca Cavenaghi, and also overlooks the internal garden and the Ghemme rows. Guest access Guests can access the barbecue and picnic area for free. Other things to note Guests are required to show a photo ID upon check-in. Please inform Cascina Cavenago in advance of the time you expect to arrive. The property is not available for bachelorette/celibate or similar parties. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The rooms are all on the first floor and, as it is a historic residence, there are no vertical transport systems. Pets are welcome; we ask for a supplement of 15 euros to be paid at the property for additional cleaning costs.
