Secure gated entrance, private parking and EV charging on site The space Maisie’s Barn is a fully private, architect-designed barn conversion set within our 70-acre farm. Guests have the entire barn to themselves, with a private driveway, secure gated access, and no shared spaces. The barn is a brand-new A2-rated build with triple glazing throughout and is warm and comfortable all year-round. The property is fully centrally heated, with a pellet stove providing additional warmth and ambience during the winter months. The barn and guest areas are fully fenced and separated from the working farm using traditional stud rail fencing, providing privacy and peace of mind throughout your stay. The private garden extends to approximately half an acre within the fenced grounds. Guests remain within the Barn surrounds, and if you’re lucky, you may spot the local wild herd of deer wandering through the surrounding fields. The accommodation is mostly arranged over one floor, centred around a bright double-height open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. A standard internal staircase leads to a mezzanine level with an open internal balcony overlooking the living space. The mezzanine includes a dedicated remote work area, a pull-out sofa, and access to the second double bedroom. The remote workspace has 1Gb fibre Wi-Fi broadband, making the space particularly suited to remote project work and longer stays. Perfect for productive days in a calm rural setting, away from the city. The kitchen and utility area are fully equipped and also well suited to longer stays. Both bedrooms enjoy views across the farm and the barn’s private gravel driveway. The upstairs bedroom features a distinctive west-facing letterbox window, ideal for summer sunsets and watching winter storms roll in across the fields. There are two double bedrooms in total, along with two toilets and one shower room. Outside, guests have exclusive use of a fully private patio and garden area with open farmland views. On clear days, the Dublin Mountains can be seen in the distance. Secure private parking is provided, and EV charging is available on site for guest use. Checked-in guests have a key lock box, and receive a gate key fob and access code for easy coming and going throughout their stay. The barn is very accessible via the M3 motorway a 5 minute drive away, and Dublin airport is 26km away. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire barn, along with a private driveway, secure gated entrance, and dedicated parking. Access to the property is via an automated gate, and guests receive a key fob and access code for easy, independent entry throughout their stay. The barn, private patio, and enclosed garden are for guest use only. All guest areas are clearly defined and fully separated from the working farm, with no shared spaces. Other things to note Maisie’s Barn is located in a rural farming area, lucky guests may see wildlife nearby, including a wild herd of deer in the surrounding fields. The wildlife should always be enjoyed from a distance, and guests are asked not to approach, encourage or feed any animals. The barn and guest areas are fully enclosed and separated from the working farm and surrounding farmland by stud rail fencing. This provides a private safe space for guests and ensures separation from farm activity and wildlife. While the accommodation itself is mostly arranged over one floor, there is a standard internal staircase leading to the mezzanine level and upstairs bedroom. The barn and guest areas are also fully separated from our private home and garden, which are not accessible to guests. Our family Labrador dog lives on the property within our private, fenced area. A car is recommended to make the most of the location and to explore the surrounding area comfortably. EV charging is available on site for guest use, with details provided after booking. The location also makes a convenient base for exploring Ireland’s Ancient East, while remaining close to Dublin.
