And the best thing, it makes you forget about the rest. @wavecathchersiargao The space —— Living room A big space with high ceiling, filled with light, facing the sea. You can open both sides of the house creating a nice natural breeze (no air con). Chilling area with sofa and a sound system to make your days and evenings even nicer. —— Fully equipped kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped for long stays. It has everything needed for home cooking, slow mornings, shared meals or quiet evenings at the house. It is practical and uncluttered, with enough space to prepare food comfortably. A big dining table and a bar, such a perfect spot for wave watching with your morning coffee. —— 2 bedrooms: Both bedrooms are facing the sea, with queen size bed, air con and black out curtains for a good night sleep. There is also a desk, making it easier to work if needed. The large folding doors let you focus on the essential, the view. Both bedrooms also have their individual terraces, for some sun bathing and chilling. —— 2 Bathrooms: Both bedrooms have an outdoor bathroom with an open atmosphere, connected to the outdoors while still offering privacy. Taking a hot shower while listening to the noises of the jungle is a very grounding experience. —— Terrace and Pool The terrace is one of the highlights of the house. It faces the sea with a 180 degree view. Sunrise is directly in front of you. The pool catches the same view. It is the perfect space to sit, float, stretch or simply look at the waves crashing. —— Materials and Atmosphere The house is a lo-fi beach house, designed for calm, comfort and simple life. Nothing is excessive. Everything has a purpose. The focus is on space, light, airflow and the presence of the ocean. It is a place to reset, to reconnect with yourself, share simple moments while taking things slowly. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire house, the pool, the garden and the path leading to the beach below. Other things to note High speed internet with Starlink for stable work and connectivity. —— We are off grid and our place runs only on solar power with battery storage. This allows you to enjoy a comfortable stay but it also means the system reacts to weather conditions. If it’s rainy or cloudy you should be mindful when using the hot shower or the air con. —— We are an open-air home, surrounded by nature. It is normal to meet friendly insects, lizards and hermit grabs inside the house. Nothing harmful. This is part of living close to the jungle and the ocean. —— No phone signal on the property which keeps the atmosphere quiet, while Starlink provides full access to internet. —— There are 2 cats living in the house: Lulu and Mimi, chill jungle cats always ready to play or hunt. —— We have our own access to the private beach but the waves can be pretty big, you need to be extra careful. The beach is accessible only during low and mid tide. —— Parking for motorbikes is available inside the property. Parking for cars is available outside the gate only. The property is fully fenced and can be locked from both inside and outside for privacy and security. —— For private transfer from General Luna or from the airport to WaveCatcher, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance so we can arrange transportation.
