Description

Tucked away in Currumbin Valley, our tiny home sits quietly beside a flowing creek, surrounded by rainforest. At night, glow worms appear and the sky opens up for stars. In September, fireflies drift through the space. Inside, everything is simple and considered, space to store your things, a balcony for meals outdoors, and an open-air bathtub for long soaks. A place to slow down, breathe, and feel properly away. @glowfalls The space Our tiny home is designed to give you privacy, comfort, and a true sense of retreat. The space is calm, dark, and intentionally simple - designed to let the rainforest do the talking. At this stage, we’re not allowing pets. INCLUSIONS: Set beside a flowing creek, the space opens onto a generous balcony with an outdoor lounge and dining table overlooking the water. The kitchen is compact yet thoughtfully equipped, featuring a gas stove, mini fridge, convection oven, microwave, and everything you need for slow, uncomplicated meals. Beneath the elevated bed, you’ll find generous storage to help you settle in comfortably - simply lift the handle. Outside, the home opens to a private balcony with a lounge and dining bar overlooking the creek, with the BBQ set slightly to the side. Spend your time soaking in the outdoor bathtub, sitting by the fire, or simply listening to the water flowing around you on both sides of the home. To make your stay as comfortable and effortless as possible, we’ve included a few thoughtful extras to help you truly relax at Glow Falls. We provide fresh bed linen, plenty of bath towels and essentials, along with a selection of pantry items including tea, Nespresso coffee pods. You’ll also find fire starters, citronella, and mosquito spray for your comfort, as well as torches and umbrellas, plus small touches that make spending time outdoors even more enjoyable. We’re close to Currumbin Creek rock pools, Currumbin Valley Harvest, and the Eco Village day space. Free parking is available on site, with clear signage throughout the property. BONUS, WE HAVE WIFI, but you are welcome to disconnect if you choose. ON THE PROPERTY: Glow worms can be found throughout the area, most often along the clay walls near the entrance. If you’re lucky, and it’s dark enough, they sometimes appear in the rocks near the bath and across from the tiny home. On clear nights, the sky lights up with stars. The waterfall is a short walk away, and in September, fireflies cover the area, making the whole place feel magical. Guests are welcome to wander to the waterfall, keeping in mind this is a rainforest environment and wildlife is part of the experience. NATURAL PRODUCTS: We use natural, low-tox products throughout to keep things kind to the rainforest. The toilet is an eco composting system. Yes, it’s a real toilet, you just don’t flush it. There’s a sign explaining everything (please read it), and most guests are pleasantly surprised by how easy it is. DAMAGES: Please treat the space with care. Any damage or excessive cleaning may be charged. If something happens, let us know promptly. This is a place for you to relax and we’re so glad to share it with you. We always welcome feedback and love hearing any suggestions that could make your stay even more special. PLEASE NOTE: ~ LOCATION HIRE & PHOTOGRAPHY Glow Falls is available for location hire and is a beautiful setting for creative projects, including photoshoots and filming. We’re happy to discuss any enquiries and love supporting creative work. All photography, filming, and content creation must be discussed and approved by the owners prior to booking. Approved shoots will incur additional fees. If more people attend than the number of guests booked, further charges will apply. At this stage, we are unable to accommodate weddings, parties, or events. ~ RAINFOREST ANIMALS: Being located in a rainforest environment, guests may encounter local wildlife. These animals are part of the natural ecosystem. Please avoid leaving food outside, move thoughtfully, and allow wildlife to remain undisturbed. Guest access Check-in is easy and completely private. You’ll arrive through the main entrance, follow the tiny home signage, park in the designated area, and walk down the path to the tiny home. The lock box is easily located, with the code sent to you before arrival along with location details. The tiny home and surrounding area are yours to enjoy during your stay. You’re welcome to explore the nearby paths, wander to the waterfall, and enjoy the creek - just keep in mind this is a rainforest environment and wildlife is part of the experience. We kindly ask that you stick to the provided map for safety and remain mindful and respectful of those living nearby. There are no shared spaces or facilities, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy the quiet. Free on-site parking is provided, with clear signage to guide you in. Other things to note The tiny home is low-level and easy to move through, however the surrounding area is natural rainforest. If you choose to explore, please be mindful that some paths and hills can be steep and uneven. We recommend wearing suitable footwear when exploring the grounds, as paths may be uneven or slippery after rain. For your comfort and peace of mind, the tiny home is stocked with a first aid kit, torches, umbrellas, and other essentials you may need during your stay. Our water is clean and safe, and we provide a filtered jug for drinking. You are welcome to bring extra water if you prefer. Wi-Fi is available, though as we’re in a rural area, connection speeds may occasionally slow or drop - particularly during poor weather. Most guests find it reliable, but it’s best suited for light use rather than heavy streaming or work calls. After significant rain, parts of Currumbin Valley can flood. This isn’t common, but if conditions affect safe access, we may need to adjust or cancel/refund a stay. Your safety always comes first.
