The space The Buford Brick offers a comfortable and welcoming space designed for relaxing after a day exploring Gettysburg. The living room includes a large sectional sofa perfect for unwinding, watching TV, or gathering with family and friends. Historic details such as original woodwork and traditional room separation give the home its classic character. The dining area sits between the living room and kitchen, creating a natural place for meals, conversation, and planning the next day's adventures. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare simple meals or morning coffee with Ninja - DualBrew 14-Cup Specialty Coffee System with K-Cup Compatibility, 4 Brew Styles, Hot Water System & Frother before heading out to explore the battlefield and downtown. This home comfortably accommodates couples, families, or small groups while maintaining the cozy charm of a historic Gettysburg property. You’ll have a private entrance and a designated gravel driveway for off-street parking. Please note that three areas of the home are locked for owner storage and are not accessible to guests. Other Things to Note Historic Character: The Buford Brick is a classic older home with traditional room separation and original details. It is best suited for guests who appreciate historic charm rather than a modern open-concept layout. Bathroom Accessibility: The bathroom features a beautiful clawfoot tub/shower combination. The tub is deep and oversized but requires stepping up and over a high tub wall. This may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Date Inquiries: If your preferred dates appear unavailable, feel free to send an inquiry. We are sometimes able to accommodate special requests. Rental Agreement & Security Deposit After booking, guests will receive a short rental agreement to review and sign electronically. This helps ensure that everyone understands the house guidelines and expectations for the stay. A refundable security deposit is also required prior to arrival. This is simply a temporary hold, similar to what hotels place on a credit card during a stay. No charges are made unless there is damage, missing items, or violations of the house rules.
