Off-Grid Driftwood Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This simple one room cabin helps you slow down and enjoy the little things. Surrounded by forest with the property going to the nearby river it is an ideal off-grid place to relax. It also has an attached screened-in sitting area. There is a change room/washroom that has a portable flushable toilet. There are many details in this cabin that are made with driftwood, hence the name "The Driftwood Cabin" The space This cabin is solar powered off-grid and is capable of powering the lights and charging phones, but unable to run larger loads without depleting the battery. There is no running water, but a jug of drinkable water is provided and can be refilled upon request. There is no shower or refrigerator available. There is a queen size bed and a pullout couch. There is also space available for tents outside with permission from the hosts. The cabin has a flushable portable toilet, but there is also an outhouse outside. Currently this cabin is only heated by a woodstove and wood will be provided during cooler temperatures. There is a campfire pit outside with wood available for purchase. Cooking can be done on a 2-burner camp stove. Some pots, pans, dishes, and a kettle are available.
