Elandsvlei Estate Chalet

This beautiful secluded 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet overlooks a peaceful dam surrounded by wildlife. There is a lapa next to the chalet with a fire pit, as well as a picnic deck with breath-taking views overlooking the water-lily covered dam and a beach! The Chalet is located on a 3000 ha private game farm between Mookgphong (Naboomspruit) and Vaalwater with giraffes, buffalo, eland, kudu, gemsbok, zebra, wildebeest, and many other species. Game drives are available for an additional fee. The space This beautiful mountain location has many roads and trails that are ideal for hiking, running, and mountain biking! The Chalet is completely secluded, with our other lodging options being at least 5 km away, so you are guaranteed absolute privacy during your stay! Elandsvlei Estate's dams are great for fishing, and guests are welcome to try their luck fishing for various species including tilapia, bream, and catfish. Hunting is also available on the property, please send a private message for a full list of available species and pricing. The chalet is normally set up for four guests, but we can arrange for an additional bed if you are a group of five people. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire chalet, lapa, and picnic area. Firewood is provided for guests. The whole farm is available for hiking, running, and mountain biking. There are approximately 50km of roads and trails of varying degrees of difficulty to explore! Self-drives are allowed at your own risk. Other things to note Please note that only MTN provides cell service in this area, other carriers will most likely not have reception. The cell service is not great at the chalet but you get good coverage about 500m further. Also, the last 15 kilometers to the farm from Mookgophong (Naboomspruit) are on a gravel road. However, this road is in good condition and is accessible in both 2 or 4 wheel drive cars. We have even had some guests come in sports cars who had no issues getting here!
