Looking forward to meeting you! The space Nestled on the ground floor, beneath our family home, this unique, private, eco-conscious tiny home offers a blend of comfort and creativity. The bed/sitting room is a cozy sanctuary, with books, games, TV and comfy bed, opening onto the light-filled kitchen/dining area. On warm mornings, take your breakfast outside with the birds. Despite being conveniently close to shops, the apartment is tucked away in a leafy garden, ensuring privacy and a peaceful retreat. Ideal for those seeking inspiration or a quiet escape, our space invites you to unwind in the beauty of the Adelaide Hills, moments from shopping areas, wineries and nature walks. Other things to note Honeymyrtle is a unique, nature-immersive stay with original artworks, treasures, books, games and practical supplies that I hope will enhance your experience. We aim to provide a comfortable stay without opulence or luxury, we prefer the simpler pleasures and know you will too! There is a collection of pop-up books that you may browse with care. Please let me know about any damage or breakages to anything in the apartment. Our family lives above and while we will being doing our utmost to keep noise to a minimum, you may hear movement from time to time just as in an apartment. During 2026 we will mostly be away travelling so there will be a house-sitter, Helen, managing the Studio for us. I hope to have provided you with all the basics you may need. Sing out if we've missed anything. We try to keep waste an absolute minimum so shampoo/conditioner and dish soap will be refilled. Wash cloths are washable and reusable. We aim for zero waste. We will collect your recycling and use your compost. Please be aware that the Adelaide Hills are a fire-prone area. If there is a designated Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger day during your stay you may need to leave the property to go to a Safer Zone - please keep an eye on fire danger rating (more info in the house manual).
