Welcome to Buitenhuisje IkiSchaijk – Where Peace, Nature and Meaning Meet Hidden in the greenery, on the edge of nature reserve De Maashorst, you will find Buitenhuisje IkiSchaijk. A cozy furnished vacation home, perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle. Here, everything revolves around relaxing, living outdoors and enjoying simplicity. The space Whether you come to hike, bike or just relax with a book on the terrace – at IkiSchaijk, the possibilities are diverse! Inside you can enjoy cozy comfort, outside forest sounds, birds and maybe even a curious squirrel. What to expect: - Cozy and fully furnished cottage for 4 people - Private terrace overlooking the greenery - Direct access to walking and cycling routes - Close to Schaijk and nature reserve De Maashorst It has a nice dining and living room with a round dining table for 4 people (+ baby chair available). From the dining area, you can walk through the French doors into the garden. The garden has several terraces so you can enjoy the sun to the fullest. If you have your children with you, let them enjoy the swing, trampoline or (for the little ones) the slide. Or let them discover the "secret" paths in the garden. In the living room there is a nice sofa to relax, enjoy a book, laze around or stare outside.....oh yes there is also a television ;-). You can stream via Chrome Cast and Apple TV, and you can watch Netflix. The various cabinets and boxes in the living and dining room are filled with children's toys and books & magazines. In the kitchen you will find an electric stove, oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a toaster, blender, kettle and Nespresso machine (also cafetière) available. There is a bedroom with a double bed. The other bedroom has two single beds (extendable) for children (possibly also to be used by adults). A camping bed can be added. Other amenities for toddlers/babies are also provided, such as a changing table and changing mat. Through the hallway you have access to the bathroom (shower and washing machine/dryer) and separate toilet. All windows can be opened for fresh air. Curtains are provided for all windows (mostly blackout in both bedrooms). There is a shed available where you can store and/or charge your bicycle(s). Other things to note The park where this nice vacation home is located can only be entered and exited by car via a barrier with an access pass that you get at check-in. In the park, there are various facilities that you can use as a guest of our cottage. For example, there is an outdoor swimming pool, playground, jeu de boules court (we have jeu de boules balls available) and bicycle rental. We appreciate it if you treat our cottage as you would treat your own house :-).
