This home is located inside the designated outdoor refreshment area within town, where patrons are allowed to walk around freely with open containers. There is ample on street parking directly in front of the home available. Sprawl out in the spacious two bedroom area. This is a second story unit that does have stairs. The space Step into a charming Victorian retreat in the midst of gentle renewal — where classic character meets thoughtful updates. Some spaces are still being refreshed, but the home’s warmth, history, and comfort are ready to welcome you. This property includes two bedrooms (one with a Victorian king bed and one with a Victorian full bed along with a two twin bed), a living room with 50 inch smart TV, dining room with table and 4 chairs, full kitchen, laundry facility (washer&dryer), and a full bathroom with tub. Due to the historical nature of the home, this may not be an ideal space for those with little children. While I appreciate the interest, I do put everyone’s safety first and feel that if children have not been exposed to a historical home with a lot of woodwork, leaded glass, and low railings, this would not be suited for them. During the summer months, the Kehoe Park Concert Series is only a couple blocks walk away to enjoy live music by the river. A 3rd bedroom with an additional twin bed can be opened up upon request if needed for more sleeping arrangements. Guest access Guests will need to use the door on Market Street, there are other doors on this property that do not gain access to the Airbnb. Please use the door under the covered front porch next to the porch swing. If you are at any other door, that is an incorrect door and your passcode will not work. The Market Street door is only for Airbnb access, the homeowner uses the entrance around back by the driveway. Other things to note This property is non-smoking and no pets. The owner does 1 cat in the adjoining space. The property is 22 miles from Fort Wayne International Airport. As mentioned, this property has recently had some renovations, and there are more renovations which will occur throughout the year in between guests. Folding chairs are provided for those who would like to take them to the summer concert series on the courthouse plaza or the park on the river. The courthouse plaza concerts are on Thursdays and the concerts on the river are on Fridays or Saturdays.
