The main floor welcomes you with a dramatic open-concept living area featuring floor-to-ceiling glass doors that frame a breathtaking panorama of swaying palms and lush tropical greenery. Custom-made cabinetry flows throughout — from the fully equipped gourmet kitchen with rebuilt scullery to the sophisticated wet bar in the living room, every detail was crafted with intention. Step Outside Slide open those glass doors and step onto your private terrace — a beautifully appointed outdoor dining area shaded by a sunshade canopy, with lounge seating overlooking the sparkling pool below. The Estate Grounds Finca Sonadora's fully gated and fenced 2+ acres are unlike anything you've experienced. Over 30 years of exotic tropical flora — trees imported from Thailand and Africa growing alongside native Puerto Rican fruit and vegetable trees — create a private jungle paradise. Wander the grounds, discover seasonal fruits, and encounter the island's fascinating local fauna in their natural habitat. The Bedrooms The primary suite on the lower level offers a king-size bed with its own ensuite bathroom — a private retreat within a retreat. Two additional bedrooms, each with queen-size beds, share a well-appointed full bathroom. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, though the natural mountain breeze at 1,400 feet means you may never need to turn it on. Coming Memorial Day Weekend 2026 Our sister property, Refugio Sonadora — an intimate glamping cabin — joins the estate. Perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a secluded escape, it will share the estate pool and 2-acre grounds with Casa Altura Campestre guests. Good to Know We highly recommend bringing groceries for your stay — the nearest shopping center (Catalinas, Caguas) is 19 minutes away. This is a home set in the tropical jungle, so expect to encounter the beautiful local fauna and flora that make Finca Sonadora so special. Ample parking for several vehicles is available on the estate. Guest access First two levels with third lowest level for storage and extra access to the patio. Other things to note HOUSE RULES — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING Maximum 7 guests The property is registered for up to 7 guests. Unauthorized additional guests are not permitted. No smoking indoors Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home. Designated outdoor areas only. A cleaning fee will apply for violations. No pets Due to the exotic flora and fauna on the estate, pets are not permitted to protect both the estate's ecosystem and your pet. Quiet hours 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM We are in a private residential mountain community. Please be respectful of neighbors during quiet hours. Pool — adult supervision required at all times No diving. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Pool use is at guests' own risk. No glass near the pool area. Please leave the home tidy We ask that you leave dishes clean, trash bagged, and the home in the same general condition as you found it. A standard cleaning fee is included in your booking. Secure the gate when entering and leaving For the safety and privacy of all guests, please ensure the main estate gate is secured at all times. Respect the estate grounds and flora Many plants on the estate are rare, exotic, and over 30 years old. Please do not cut, pick, or disturb the plant life without permission. No parties or events without prior approval Events and gatherings beyond the registered guest count require prior written approval from the host. Unauthorized events will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
