It is said that Sunyata Baba (Alfred Sorensen from Denmark) once lived here and named it “Turiya.” In Sanskrit philosophy, Turiya refers to the fourth state of consciousness — beyond waking, dreaming, and deep sleep — a state of stillness, awareness, and pure presence. The home has two thoughtfully positioned rooms: Room One: Opens into the study and flows into the dining area — ideal for reading, writing, or slow mountain mornings. The property is easily accessible from the main road (1-minute walk). Parking is available nearby. We respect your privacy, but are available if needed during your stay. Other things to note This is a 100-year-old heritage home, so the structure reflects traditional mountain architecture rather than modern hotel finishes. • We request guests to maintain cleanliness, especially in the kitchen. • If the kitchen is used and left unclean (including utensils), an additional cleaning charge of ₹200 may apply. • This is a quiet residential area.
