The Jailhouse

Welcome to The Jailhouse - a unique getaway in a decommissioned police station. This private space features two original jail cells converted into cozy bedrooms, complete with authentic cell bars. Perfect for families, friend groups, or anyone wanting a fun, memorable experience. Check “a night in the slammer” off your bucket list (without aquiring a record) while enjoying the modern comforts and a space all to yourselves. The space Guests have the use of the entire space while renting. The Jailhouse has: - 2 rooms with 3 single beds - counter and stool in each room - sanitized slippers! - fully equipped kitchen with oven and microwave - air fryer, rice cooker - cooking utensils, pots and pans - full complement of dishes and cutlery - coffee bar and kettle - washing machine Bathroom includes: - heated towel bar - shampoo and conditioner - soap - hair dryer - towels and facecloths - q-tips, cosmetic remover pads Parking: - one indoor space - plenty of off-street parking space for groups Outdoor area: - patio furniture - outdoor patio firepit Guest access Guest access is on the side of the building where the outdoor living space is. Code for keypad will be provided by the host after booking. Keyed access to the garage parking space. Large off-street parking lot. Other things to note The Jailhouse is walking distance to grocery store, gas station, swimming pool, campground. The old Agassiz ski hill is on the east side of Riding Mountain National Park - a mere 7 kms to hiking trails and natural beauty.
