Hideaway Haven Farm Cottage

This cottage has all you could dream about for relaxation. Meet the highland cows & other farm animals, A Hot Tub, Large Pond, feed the fish, Trails to walk, Private places to sit and enjoy. A canoe and life jackets are available. If you like to swim with the fish you are welcome. Please note that our property is an adult-only retreat designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests must be 21 years or older to book and stay, and we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 21. The space You're welcome to walk around and enjoy the property during your stay! We have beautiful paths through the woods, a small pavilion for relaxing, and a fenced-in flower garden behind the house that you’re free to explore. Down by the pond, there’s a dock where you can sit, fish( it is catch and release, please use barbless hooks), or feed the fish. (We provide fish food—it's in a container on the dock.) Please note that other guests may feed them too, so if you find the container empty, just let me know and I’ll happily refill it for you. You're also welcome to walk up to the fence to see the Highland cows—most likely, they’ll come to see you! You may pet them, but please be cautious: they have horns and can sometimes swing their heads around unexpectedly. We also have goats on the property! During the day, they are usually in the barn, but in the evening they often come out into the field. They’re friendly, curious, and often happy to come over and say hello—you’re welcome to pet them, too. We’re happy to offer charcuterie board during your stay! Guest access For your safety, guests are not permitted to enter the barn or go through any of the pasture gates unless accompanied by a host. We’re always happy to show you around—just let us know if you’d like a closer look at the animals! Also, please note that there is another guest accommodation on the property, and we kindly ask that you do not enter that building to respect their privacy. Other things to note You are welcome to use the canoe, feed the fish, have a campfire in the fire ring, stroll through the cut flower garden. Take a walk around our 27 acers, visit the animals. Most of them will come close to the fence and enjoy your company. Only sleeps 2 adults, no children. Must be 21 or older. We aim to have a relaxing quiet place for our guests to enjoy.
