Adirondack Getaway

Our spot on the north shore of Osgood Pond is a perfect location for nature lovers!. Come relax and explore! You'll find the guest apartment cosy and comfy, with its own entrance and patio/deck. You can bike, hike, fish, canoe, swim or xc ski right from the property. Loons and eagles are summer residents. Walk the many trails at the super close Paul Smith's College VIC (a nature and xc ski center.) We'd love to welcome you! The space The apartment is an open efficiency layout, with an upper level bedroom with wardrobe, cedar chest, small desk and rocker. There is an attached bathroom with sliding door, which has a sink, toilet and shower. There are towels, toilet paper and other amenities supplied, including hair dryer. For humid weather there is a dehumidifier and for cold weather a Monitor vented kerosene heater -- very efficient. The lower level includes a futon that makes into a double bed, arm chairs and a small, two person dining table. The kitchenette has a small, apartment size refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, and cook and tableware. There is a sliding door to a private deck and patio with (summer) patio furniture (table with umbrella and chairs). The sliding door locks only from inside, but there is also a lockable interior door. Guests can access an additional deck area en route to the waterfront, where we have a dock, fire pit, lawn furniture and our personal boats. Guests may bring a canoe or kayaks, etc. for their use. We may have one or more boats available to loan. Use of the waterfront from swimming, boating, or fishing is at the guests own risk. Guests may park a car on the apartment driveway or in another designated parking area. Guest access We'll exchange cell phone numbers before arrival. Just text or call as needed.
