Cozy farm cottage in Lovettsville

Escape the hustle and bustle at this peaceful and cozy farm cottage. Situated on a 28 acre working farm built in 1790. Enjoy a local taste of LoCo with farm fresh eggs at check in. Relax in a warm and restful atmosphere where you can recharge. 2 miles from the center of Lovettsville's quaint town square. Minutes to local breweries and wineries. 1/2 mile from the Potamac river and Brunswick MD. Close to great hiking and biking trails! The space You will find this cottage to be the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern convenience. You can sit on the front porch and take in the sweet sounds of nature while sipping your morning coffee. In the living room, the couch opens to a double bed to sleep additional guests. A designated work space can be found in the sitting room, off the living room for those possibly working remote. There is also plenty of room for a pack n play if traveling with a little one. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has a twin day bed. A full bathroom with a tub style shower is right off the living area. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave and plenty of space for cooking. You will also find a fully stocked coffee bar in the kitchen. There is a gas grill on the deck with cozy seating to enjoy a meal under the stars. Guests also have access to the stone fire pit out front. We are a working farm so please be careful and respectful of fences. If you wish to feed or handle any of the animals just let us know and we can arrange that. Our family lives on the farm so you may see or hear us. Please be respectful of our privacy as we will give you that same courtesy. Guest access Feel free to roam about our 28 acre farm. Just be mindful that gates that are closed must remain closed. We provide feed if you would like to interact with the animals ☺️ Other things to note Doorways and ceilings are low so tall guests will need to be careful. There is a steep staircase to the basement where the washer and dryer are located. Please use caution when navigating these stairs. We are close to Harper's Ferry, WV, Leesburg, VA, Frederick MD and Waterford, VA. We are about a 40 minute drive to Dulles Airport. Lovettsville is a great Western Loudoun small town with lots of fun activities year round. There is a new Farmer's CO-OP grocery store and some fantastic local restaurants. We will provide a list of local eateries, wineries and breweries for guests!
