We are not a management company—this is our part-time home, lovingly maintained and thoughtfully shared with guests. Please note that we priced our home to offer great value and keep things fair for all guests, and our rates are firm and we do not negotiate. Thank you for understanding. Guest access 🌿 Exploring the Property | Family-Friendly Guidance Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire home. Our home is not child proof so please bring what you need to keep your child safe. The barn is a cozy spot to play, read, or relax, and comes with couches and yoga mats for stretching or quiet time. Please use the barn carefully—it’s access with your assumption of risk for you and those you are responsible for. Always ensure children are supervised, and no children on the ladder or upstairs without adult supervision. You’re welcome to build a small fire on the lake shore for marshmallows or evening warmth—just make sure it’s fully out before leaving. No fires are allowed inside the home. The lake is warm and inviting, home to fish, water birds, otters, and eagles. For comfort and safety, water shoes are recommended when swimming or wading. Always wear life jackets when using the kayaks and dock. Take time to explore the fields and old-growth nurse log—it’s a special spot to connect with nature. Since this is a rainforest environment, shoes are recommended in the fields to stay comfortable and avoid plants like Cascade blackberries. The fields are also home to elk and moles which the terrain reflects, with lots of uneven ground. There are the following amenities: Hot tub Infinity Massage chair Kayaks (one and two person) Steam room Elliptical trainee Rowing machine Video game table Foosball table Home theater (Apple TV) Croquet set Board games Jigsaw puzzles Library At the time of this writing, all of these amenities are available and in good working order, and it is our intention to keep them all available for you at all times. However, in this rural area, repair service is often limited. Special amenities like the massage chair can take weeks to be serviced if damaged. As such, we cannot guarantee that everything will be working at all times. If something is not working, we will let you know and also let you know when we expect it to be repaired. Thank you for your understanding. Other things to note We may be available in person as we sometimes live in the lower abode (with the three bay doors).
