Afternoon: billiards, table tennis, piano, or a hike from the cottage. In the evening: wood-fired sauna, fondue or raclette (delivered upon request), and a movie in the home theater. Convenient: The chalet is deliberately secluded, with no neighbors, on a cul-de-sac on 5 acres of land – for those who really want to get away from it all. Enjoy an ideal mountain base, 40 minutes from the first ski slopes (Collet d'Allevard) and 1 hour from the major Savoyard ski resorts. Grocery delivery and catering available before and during the stay. 4G internet is available – and some evenings, you find yourself truly disconnected from the world, which is part of the magic of the place. Other things to note The chalet is intentionally secluded: the nearest shops are in Chamoux-sur-Gelon (20 minutes away), where you will find a butcher shop, bakery, cheese shop, and hardware store. For major shopping, Albertville is less than 30 minutes away (large shopping mall). Groceries can be delivered directly to the chalet before you arrive (Super U La Rochette drive-through, mobile grocery store on Saturdays, Chamoux butcher-caterer).
