Cedar Boathouse Overlooking Baltimore & West Cork

“My favourite place ever to stay” a guest said. Just a little piece of heaven on the side of a hill with views to die for. And down the road from 2 Michelin Star Restaurants!!! Two bedrooms with beds for 7 people. As well as a cot bed on request. Only up the hill from both Baltimore and the famous Lough Hyne Nature Reserve a beautiful walk away .A short boat trip to both Cape Clear Island and Sherkin Islands. A great base for seeing all West Cork on both land and sea. :) Everyone comes back.. :) The space Cedar Boathouse is located on a 6 acre site along with our family home. A unique timber framed and well insulated house on the side of a mountain overlooking the islands of West Cork. With a larch plank finish on the outside and cedar and plaster on the inside. We are family friendly and provide stair gates, a cot bed, a high chair and an additional double mattress on request. Animals are welcome and have a porch area of their own.... Guest access The boathouse is nestled in the beautiful countryside of West Cork and surrounded by lovely walkways and islands with its very own picturesque pond in the garden. The enclosed pond is full of life with anything from frogs to otters and dragon flies to ducklings depending on the time of year. We boast some of the best restaurants and coffee shops in Munster and all a short drive away with Baltimore only 2km down the hill! Babysitting and taxi services available on request. Other things to note If you need a babysitter or a lift to or back from the pub feel free to ask. If we can we will help you out. :)
