Guest access The Matua guest house is located in a cozy quiet corner in Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti in the town of Jvari. The guest house consists of several common buildings for our guests such as: Wine cellar, library, terrace and playground for children. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, a bar, free private parking, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property, and a paid shuttle service to/from Kutaisi International Airport. One of the main advantages of staying in a guest house is to try real home cooking! Georgian cuisine is one of the most underrated cuisines in the world, and home cooking is unlike anything you've ever tasted in a restaurant. Moreover, the ritual of sitting down and sharing a meal with the hosts (and usually with other guests) is a nourishing experience. We offer you breakfast that costs 15 lari per person and can consist of yogurt Matsoni, cheese Suluguni, bread, butter, a large number of jams, preserves and other delicious dishes. In addition to the above, the guest is also given the opportunity to choose between fried eggs, porridge and our signature cheesecakes. Dinner is usually a little more expensive, 30 lari per person, and will be served in a sharing style. We can also cater to special dietary requirements (vegan / vegetarian, gluten-free) if you let us know in advance. Zugdidi is 31 km from Matua Guest House, and Mestia is 110 km away. Kutaisi International Airport is 102 km away. Also near our guest house is the largest hydroelectric power station in the Caucasus, the Enguri HPP 9 km and the Inciri (Incra) waterfall 7 km.
