So peaceful by the lake. Log cabin with annexe.

Ever dreamed of a secluded cabin by a lake? Draw your water from the lake, light a fire in the fireplace? Add that you can drive right up to it, keep nice and warm, cook meals like at home, hike, bike, ski, charge your phone and have solar-powered lighting, even WIFI.... This is our little paradise, we'll share with you. The space The cabin is 930 meters above sea level and right by a lake, with sunshine all day, one of the best locations in the whole area. It is located in a local nature reserve with building restrictions. The main cabin has two bedrooms and a large covered porch/terrace from which to enjoy the view. The kitchen is fully equipped. The annexe has a bunk bed and two sleeping spaces on the sofa. It has a simple kitchen. Get away from civilization and back to nature! See below for more important information. Guest access There is a rowboat you can use. Also a grill. Access to the annexe upon agreement or depending on the number of guests. If you would like to just rent the annexe for a reduced price, let us know. Other things to note Note this is a "back to nature" cabin with no indoor plumbing. The water in the lake is safe to drink, or bring drinking water if you prefer. The john/loo is in the outhouse. If you are not comfortable with that this is probably not the cabin for you. However, you will be missing out on the "away from civilization" experience and traditional Norwegian cabin life :) Please note also that you need to bring your own bedclothes - or sleeping bags - and towels. The cabin is far in the mountains, with only solar energy for lights, so it is not easy to get laundry done. It is also the Norwegian custom to bring your own sheets and duvet covers (or sleeping bags) to cabins. The duvets and pillows are provided. Please also note that cleaning is not provided and there is therefore no cleaning fee. This will be your responsibility when you leave, to leave it in good order for the next guests. Plenty of wood is available at what it costs us to buy. One bag costs NOK 150. Gas for cooking is included. Gas for heating is not usually necessary. Cost of gas for heating will be stipulated if used.
