Mermaid Manor Built in 1884 and thoughtfully remodeled in 2016, this historical Fort Bragg home perfectly blends the comforts of modern life with the Victorian charm of the old Northern California Coast. This home is located on the iconic California Highway 1, directly adjacent to MacKerricher State Park and a three-minute walk from the ocean beach. The space This beautiful landmark home sits mere steps from the beach at MacKerricher State Park, offering four lovely bedrooms (including two main bedroom suites), and an additional bedroom located in the detached studio with a tub/shower combo an expansive deck with a private gas grill, Smart TVs in each room, and a renovated kitchen with custom cabinetry reclaimed from the redwood that adorned the original house. Things to know: The 5th bedroom is located in the studio which is detached from the main home, behind the main home. Free WiFi, Full kitchen (with a dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, and a Keurig), and Netflix streaming available (guests must use their own accounts). The main floor of the house has wide hallways and can accommodate a wheelchair and the main bedroom's bathroom has a roll-in shower with grab bars. Guest access There is a ramp up the back deck to enter the house Other things to note Check-in Form: To ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, we kindly require completion of our short check-in form after booking. This includes signing our standard rental agreement and verifying guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare the home for your arrival. FRONT GATE ACCESS: The lock box code to the front gate is sent to the guests a few days prior to their arrival date. ACCESS TO THE HOME: Once inside the gate, go to the left (south) side of home and walk down the pathway and onto the porch, the first door you come to is the main access to the home via a smart lock located right on the door knob. If there is an issue with the smart lock and you cannot access the home, the back up lockbox is located on the beam, just turn to your right and you will see the lockbox, the code is 4109#, the key inside will open up the smart lock. Detached Studio: Access to the detached studio is behind the home. Boathouse lockbox code: 1345. This property does not support EV charging. Guests are kindly asked to use public EV chargers available in the area.
