Riverside Priory, 2-Bedroom House

Nestled by the river Seine, in an artist village in the region of Champagne, this former priory is located only 100km from Paris (55mn direct train between the neighboring Nogent s/Sein and Gare de l'Est). This is an authentic and ressourcing place, newly renovated, loaded with 400 years of history. We have decorated the house with love and care, the equipment is very generous. Bikes of diverse sizes (for adults and children), kayaks, SUPs and other inside and outside equipments are available. The space Following is the houses' set up: On the ground floor you will find the living room with a direct access to the private terrace and open to the kitchen with its chimney and dining table. A separate WC and a bedroom with queen-size bed (160cm width) and direct access to its bathroom equipped with an Italian shower. Upstairs, a bedroom with queen-size bed (160cm width) a small balcony offering a view on the facing church Notre Dame de l’Assomption (XII century and historic monument), an open bathroom equipped with a retro bathtub and finally a separate WC. Both bedrooms are very comfortable, decorated with love & care. They offer a view on the vast garden, facing South. Each bedroom is equipped with its neighboring bathroom and both toilets are separate but adjacent. The kitchens' equipment is very complete, amongst others, with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine... and a generous amount of tableware and cooking tools. A washing machine is available in the house. Bed and house linen, as well as towels and hygiene products (soap, shampoo...) are provided. The terrace is equipped with a dining table for 4 persons, an umbrella and a carbon bbq. In the living-room you will find diverse games for adults and children, a Bluetooth speaker, books and magazines. The inside surface of the house is 120 m². Guest access The property of Le Prieuré sur Seine consists of two houses and a vast garden. The two houses offer three vacation homes with 1-3 bedrooms. The maximum total capacity is of 14 persons. All travelers enjoy perfect privacy: each of our three vacation homes has its' private entry and terrace. They all have a private kitchen and living room, in addition to the bed- and bathrooms. The former priories' garden is oriented South, so one can enjoy the sun from dawn until evening. The garden is the only shared space of Le Prieuré; all our guests enjoy this grand space, offering diverse relaxing spots. A large offer of outside equipment is available for our guests: numerous bikes (children and adult sizes, incl. baby seats), three double kayaks, two SUPs (life vests are available) so that you may explore the surroundings on the water and by land :) Also available: a ping-pong table, badminton rackets, balls... We ask for a unique participation of 10€ per group for the benefit of this offer. Other things to note We are a Parisian family (well, my husband is Portuguese and I am German originally...), charmed by this spiritual and inspiring place, we chose as our home for vacations and numerous weekends... Our country house is neighboring le Prieuré. We are happy to make this picturesque village known to curious travelers, who are keen on authentic places.
