Hägerstugu - cabin on a farm

Nice and cozy cabin in Hovet in Hol kommune, 750 m above sea level. Two bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Family friendly. Hiking and fishing in summer. Cross country skiing and downhill skiing in winter. Great view and short distance to the Hallingskarvet national park. The space Hägerstugu is a cozy little cabin. It is comfortable furnished in light colors. The cabin is situated on our farm, in the near proximity of barn, main house and outhouses. Guest access Parking next to cabin. In the summer there is a nice big trampoline right outside the cabin and a swing in a tree nearby. There are walking paths everywhere, also trails into the national park. Outdoor bench & table for eating. Guests may bring their own equipment and go fishing in Strandavatn (ask to get directions to our property). In the winter sledding on the farm hills or on the private road is much fun. Cross country skiing can be done anywhere if you want to make your own tracks, or in groomed tracks near by. Access to 500 km groomed cross country tracks within 10 min drive. Some are in the lower mountain area, which works well on windy days. Others are high up on bare mountain, gorgeous on clear, sunny winter days. Lighted cross country trail within 5 min drive (lighted daily until 9pm). Our guests can borrow our rowing boat and fish on out property Bergstølen, which is on the lake Strandavatn, approximately half an hour drive up into the mountains. You may catch mountain trout in this lake. Other things to note Bed sheets and towels are included.
