Each has been uniquely curated by the Stay Awhile Villas design team, providing a cohesive beachfront experience with distinct interiors and the same unmatched Carbon Beach location.** Exclusive Partnerships • Erewhon Market – Pre-stock fridge service exclusively through Erewhon • CURE Wellness – Members-only wellness club with exclusive guest access during stay Parking: Exterior parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in unmarked spaces. Handicap spaces require a valid placard. Overflow parking is available across the street on the rooftop in Stay Awhile Villas–marked spaces. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire unit. Building amenities—including pool, spa, private beach, and laundry—are shared. Exclusive access to CURE, a nearby private wellness club, is also included. Other things to note Please message our team and speak with the Home Manager before booking. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. Credit card processing fee may be required post-booking. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies. To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully. 1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names before booking. Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave. 2) No pets allowed except for service animals as required by law. 3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations. City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW. We are in a high brush fire zone. In effort to prevent wildfires the state can turn utilities on and off intermittently. Stay Awhile will not offer any refunds in this case. 4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If needed, send it to our office; we'll deliver to the property on your arrival day. We're not responsible for lost mail. 5) Quiet hours: 9:00 pm to 9:00am to ensure peaceful atmosphere for all guests and neighbors. 7) The property is on Pacific Coast Highway—guests may hear road noise or waves. No lifeguard on duty; never leave children unattended near the beach or PCH. 8) Day of Arrival: Let us know if you prefer self-check-in or a personal tour. Only the guest who booked can check in and must show their ID for security. 9) Check-In: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval. Check Out: 10:00am. Late checkout is based upon availability and needs to be approved in advance. Our late check-out fee is $100 for every hour after 10:00am. Additionally, if you want to check-out after 12:00 pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. 10) Before departing, please check for personal items. We’re not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. If found, items can be shipped back for the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee. 11) Pre-Stocking: Choose from our available pre-stocking options with at least one week's notice. A $95 service fee applies to all requests. 12) To maintain the quality and condition of the home, guests are not permitted to move or rearrange any furniture without prior written approval. Moving furniture can cause damage to floors, walls, and the furnishings themselves. Any unauthorized movement of furniture will result in an additional fee to cover inspection, repositioning, and any damages incurred. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the space in excellent condition for all guests. Cleanliness: We take cleaning seriously—each home is thoroughly deep cleaned between stays. As a top-ranked vacation rental company, our in-house team ensures high hospitality standards, so you can book with confidence and peace of mind. Building Rules: - Nothing personal can be left in hallways at any time - No hanging of towels over railings - All umbrellas must be closed during winds - Do not leave main buildings doors or front door propped open - Do not park in any space that is not shown to you at check-in - No glass or food in or around the parking area - No loud or disturbing noises in or around the pool area - No handheld speakers - No diving or jumping into the pool - Must wear appropriate pool attire - No swimming in non-pool attire - No unapproved visitors - Rinse off sand before entering the pool Additional House Rules • Malibu is a no-smoking city. Smoking will incur a $500 fee. • Security cameras are located at the front door and back deck. • Do not leave the fireplace unattended; turn it off when not in use. • No leaning or throwing items off the balcony. • Do not feed seagulls – it’s harmful to them and the environment. • Lost building key incurs a $250 fee. • No pets anywhere. • Do not move furniture or create noise for residents below. • Only the living room coffee table may be moved to access the pullout sofa. • Entry gate access is sent via Butterfly MX App after booking. • No HVAC – Malibu’s cross breeze provides natural ventilation. • Sonos system with subwoofer – enjoy, but keep volume respectful. • Malibu is on septic – no wipes down the drain. • Do not double park in spot #7. • Bar alcohol is personal and not for guest use. • No loud voices in common areas or hallways – respect neighbors. • Use the building’s single entrance and exit – obey all signage. • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items or vehicle damage. • Be cautious when parking. Use street or overflow if your car doesn’t fit. This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay. Lastly, by the end of your stay with us, if you feel our service provided to you has been nothing less than excellent, gratuity is always welcome. Just give it to whomever you deem fit!
