Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions: Casa Los Ángeles is designed as a peaceful retreat. Personal sound systems are not permitted anywhere on the property. The house sound system is available for guest use. Out of respect for the surrounding area, no outdoor music is allowed after 10:00 PM. Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. We offer an excellent grill and a pizza oven. The swimming pool is equipped with solar panels and a boiler. During colder months, the boiler is necessary; if used, the gas cost is the responsibility of the guest and reflects actual consumption, with no additional margin (approximately $1,800 MXN per use, depending on weather conditions and desired temperature). We are happy to welcome up to 4 pets. We kindly ask that they do not enter the pool or go on beds or sofas. WiFi is fast (Infinitum, TotalPlay, and Starlink) and suitable for remote work. As with any natural setting, occasional power outages may occur, though they are not frequent. The caretaker can assist with shopping in Malinalco (market, pharmacy, convenience stores) for a fee of $200 MXN, or in Tenancingo (Chedraui) for $400 MXN, using our pickup truck. The service of a cook, housekeeping, and caretaker is included and is an essential part of the experience. For groups larger than 10 guests, additional staff will be required. Before your arrival, we will create a group to coordinate meals and details of your stay. The house is located in the countryside, about 5 minutes from Malinalco. It is regularly fumigated; however, please note that due to the natural surroundings, occasional insects may still appear, you may encounter insects, arachnids, or other harmless animals. Parties and weddings are not permitted. Up to 10 additional day guests (not staying overnight) are allowed for meals or gatherings between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM. The house features a beautifully decorated main living room, a TV room, dining area, paddle court, and a pool with open views. It has 6 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, as well as several terraces to enjoy the surroundings. This is a family home where we share books, music, a pool table, and more for guests to enjoy. We kindly ask that everything be treated with care and left as it was found. The owner is British and has lived in Mexico for over 20 years. He knows Malinalco very well and will be happy to assist with any recommendations or questions. Guest access The entire house and garden are exclusively yours during your stay, so you can enjoy complete privacy. I am also the owner of three smaller neighboring homes — Casa Limoncito, Panchito, and Guayaba — available on Airbnb, with capacities for 8 and 6 guests, respectively. The properties are connected by a private gated road. Each home has its own independent entrance, ensuring full privacy when they are not rented together. Other things to note Is the house private? Yes, you will enjoy complete privacy during your stay. Both the house and the gardens are exclusively for you and your group; Casa Los Ángeles is not shared with other guests. The property is adjacent to other homes in our collection (Casa Limoncito, Casa Panchito, and Casa Guayaba), each with its own independent entrance and full privacy. We kindly ask that you respect the boundaries between properties to maintain the harmony of the space. Within the property, about 5 minutes away, there is a shared private area for guests, including a small playground for children up to 10 years old. An additional 3 minutes away, we offer a special area for meals or picnics, available upon prior reservation and at an extra cost. We will be happy to provide more information. Special Discount When booking Casa Los Ángeles, you can receive a 30% discount on the rental of Casa Limoncito, ideal for larger groups seeking additional comfort. Both houses are located next to each other and together can accommodate up to 24 guests. (Casa Los Ángeles: 16 guests | Casa Limoncito: 8 guests) Conditions: • The discount applies only to Casa Limoncito • Both properties must be reserved • The discount is applied when requesting the Casa Limoncito booking • Subject to availability Number of Guests We kindly ask that the number of guests in your reservation matches the actual number staying at the property. This allows us to provide the best service and ensure comfort and proper maintenance of the home. If the number of guests exceeds the amount indicated in the reservation, an additional fee will apply for each extra guest. If the maximum occupancy of the property is exceeded, including children aged 2 and older, additional guests will not be permitted access, and we may suggest nearby accommodation options. Visitors Visitors are welcome from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. To ensure a comfortable and well-attended experience, additional staff may be required in some cases. At Casa Los Ángeles, a maximum of 10 visitors is allowed. We kindly ask for your support in respecting these guidelines. If your group is larger, we will be happy to assist you with additional accommodation options within our villas or nearby hotels in Malinalco. Staff The service of a cook, housekeeper, and caretaker is included and is an essential part of the experience. If you would like additional support during your stay, we can gladly arrange extra staff. This service is paid directly and costs approximately $600 MXN per day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). For larger groups, especially when the house is fully occupied, additional staff will be required to ensure proper service. Heated Pool The pool is naturally heated through solar panels. During colder months, you may choose to use the gas boiler for added comfort. This service has an additional cost of approximately $1,800 MXN per use, reaching a temperature of around 32°C (90°F). We kindly ask that you request this service at least 24 hours in advance, as the heating process takes time. Important: this fee covers only the actual gas consumption, with no additional markup. Payment can be made in advance or directly to the caretaker upon arrival. Schedule & Grocery Service We aim to be flexible with check-in and check-out times, depending on availability. Standard times are: • Check-in: 3:00 PM • Check-out: 12:00 PM You may also request grocery shopping assistance prior to arrival, for an additional fee (approximately $200 MXN in Malinalco and $400 MXN in Tenancingo). Bedrooms Casa Los Ángeles has 6 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms: • Coral (ground floor): 1 king-size bed • Ópalo (ground floor): 6 single beds (bunk beds) • Jade (ground floor): 1 king-size bed • Ámbar (upper floor): 1 king-size bed with bathtub • Turquesa (ground floor): 2 single beds • Ónix (ground floor): 1 king-size bed + 1 sofa Cancellation Policy We kindly recommend reviewing our cancellation policies carefully before making any changes or cancellations, so you can make the best decision according to your plans. At Casa Los Ángeles, we follow the cancellation policies established on our Airbnb profile. * Full refund if canceled 30 days or more before check-in. * 50% refund if canceled between 7 and 30 days before check-in. * No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in.
